I went to Ashbringer since I dont wan’t to play on a megarealm or a de facto PvE realm. Not regretting it so far.

LOL players blaming other players for using a paid service that Blizzard is offering and greedily not capping because they just want the money.
Leave people alone, this problem is Blizzard’s and it’s an unacceptable situation for a paid subscription game. We lost 2 hours of raiding tonight to queues, as many other guilds did. Put more resources into Firemaw, merge servers, split servers, do something Blizzard.

What exactly are you proposing? Seems like they cant boost servers past some limit, do you want to kick part if tge server or what?
Atleast you can play the game with 12h queue while you can not when you are alone on the server.
People who played in vanilla classic on firemaw when that “cold” started irl are used to way way longer ques. If people dont research such things or think ques would not be happening on a 30k pop then that is their problem. If you complain then keep complaining and hope for more layers which loosens the que as it did back then.
They had locked firemaw back then but we were at 70000 pop and it lasted like 4months and was so heavily layered that the world was as empty as on a medium server. If you want that, keep complaining, I personally do not care as I can play the game still on that server no matter what they do of those choices.
Reality is that more alliance go here than horde do. So horde will flee to gehennas as soon as free transfers are offered depending on the horde pop on here. If I were to guess if that will happen at 30% they will be all going off and we got our massive benediction 2.0. Are people part of the problem? Yes. Is blizzard part of the problem? Yes.
Besides who doesn’t check or even think further than his nose not to transfer on the most crowded realm because of the lag and queue…
As well as the server being listed as FULL, they warn you as such before you try to join it - yet people do so, and then complain. Idiocy strikes again

I can only imagine the grin and dollar signs in Blizzard’s eyes. Just think, they get people from dying realms paying to escape to Firemaw, and people from Firemaw paying to escape the queues. Why would they do a single thing about it? It’s been shown time and again they do not care about subscriber counts as much as number of people buying microtransactions. Or rather macro-transactions in case you are moving several chars.
This is heaven for them. People pay to come, people pay to escape. Genius.
Which ones? Your server with 2k alliance pop (declining)? Earthshaker with 0 horde so u have to transfer in wotlk again if u wanna participate in wintergrasp? The only decent PvP option for alliance besides firemaw is Venoxis with about 4,5k alliance and 5,5k Horde population, but thats a german server so u wont have a good time there if you cant speak the language.

So, where exactly do you want people to go?
We were on a similar populated realm, but people never really did dungeons or found them.
Along with hard time recruiting, especially on a low populated realm.
So it was pretty much just a choice between a glorified PvP realm, overpopulated realm or moving to a PvE realm.

Not having had any of these problems since day one of Classic is pretty nice.

My server wouldn’t decline if people merge here 
Because people like to raid with their guid and recruit members to the guilds not fill spots with pugs and you cannot have people from different servers in same guild as far as i know.
I dont give a fuk where you go as long as it’s not Firemaw,
