This is insane… if u cant manage to run your servers properly either stop transfers earlier or get more capacity. this is ridiculous… whats the plan here blizzard?

i paid the full price for a character move off of mograine at the start of january because the alliance died out completely and blizzard did nothing about it and im seeing this too. Massive joke, 5.5k queue with a estimated 100 mins waiting time. Disgusting

Just like the rest of the thousands Gehannas Alliance monkeys who came here by in January. Not only did you bring queues and lags to the server - you also destroyed the balanced faction ratio of 50-50.

They should give players the opportunity to transfer to another server, I work during the day and at night is the only time I can play, and then there is 2hr+ queue?? Seriously blizz? Should probably just cancel me subscription honestly.

I’m not joking. Why do people come to Firemaw? It’s clear that the server is too full and people still come to Firemaw by the thousands. And then get upset about the queue. That’s retarded.

You’re saying i’m part of the problem, yes il take a small part however the biggest culprits are infact one the many people playing horde instead of the alliance on mograine and secondly blizzard for not doing anything despite this taking months to happen.

Yes, you too are part of the destruction of Firemaw. What happens if this goes on for a few more weeks with queues of hours and thousands more alliance players transiting here?
Blizzard will eventually offer a free transfer to relieve Firemaw.When the first horde guilds run off to other servers to escape the queues, alliance and lags, an avalanche will be triggered and Firemaw will eventually become an alliance-only server.
Of course Blizzard has the main blame because they didn’t lock the server for char transfer.

I am simply leaving a server where i have nobody left to play with. You can sit there and hate on me for it but at the end of the day what other options were open to me? The only other server i could of gone to that is english speaking, pvp and has a nice ratio without being dead would of been Ashbringer or Golemagg.
Had i known that this server was carrying 5k+ queues i would of gone to Golemagg but i’m not spending another 19 euros moving when i already spent that 30 days ago. Free migrations to non-dead servers need to be opened up before il move.
I didn’t even want to leave Mograine in the first place but as you can see the alliance slowly got worse and worse until today where it sits completely dead. Blizzard were warned and warned but our concerns fell on deaf ears and they did nothing. The same thing is happening to Gehennas and in 2 months time that realm will be 100% horde too.
If the horde end up leaving Firemaw and it becomes alliance dominated then while that’s unfortunate atleast i’ll still have people to play with. They can experience the same thing i did, being stuck on a realm where you have less and less people to play with until eventually there is nobody left.

Yes, your reasoning is understandable, but many people in your situation are doing exactly the same which will make things worse on destination server i.e. Firemaw.
There is an option to move to PvE servers which are immune to faction imbalances, but for some reason you have to choose pvp server which will become pve very soon.

Can I have a refund on my 6 month subscription (1 week old)? You people ruined my server and my game. Blizzard won’t fix it. Disgusting.
Blizzard, I don’t like you for not thinking about this and allowing such monstrosity. Im not 16 anymore that have all the time of the world.
Really wants me to alt-f4 and delete this game. Im too old for 1.5hour qeue.

This isn’t a option, it’s like me saying you have a option to avoid queues by just simply playing on another server. Being mad at players wanting a better experience isn’t the way to go. Blizzard are the keyholders here and can see what’s going on. They have been warned hundreds of times by players across many realms yet do nothing except allow those from very dead servers to come to big servers. The realms inbetween got absolutely nothing and what is happening on firemaw now is a consequence of non-action from blizzard.

Free transfer ? Who want to leave a crowded server to go back to an empty one ?

They need to merge all of the very dead servers to create one big one. Even then if that isn’t enough and they have massive imbalance in terms of h/a then open up migration from the mega servers for that faction and turn it off when it gets to a more realistic level.
There are people like me who are now on Firemaw but don’t have the time to be waiting over a hour each night just to log in. If a free migration to another server like Ashbringer was to be opened up i would happily take that. I would do it tonight.
Failing that they could just do the same thing they did with retail servers. Enable cross realm play then they could mix and match specific servers to even the scales out and stop people on dead servers feeling like they have nobody to play with. I don’t see how that would hurt the core values of “the classic community” either because the only thing that changes for these dead realms is that they now have people to actually play with.
Eventually players on cooked servers will do one of two things, migrate to a big server which is what most are doing or two stop playing.

They aren going to merge because :
- They make money from transfers
- They know that as soon as WOTLK Classic is announced (and at release) the servers will be crowded
- They don’t want to deal with same nicknames

So, where are alliance meant to go exactly?
We have a choice between two realms.
Earthshaker or Firemaw.
Firemaw at least has horde players.
Whilst Earthshaker is now effectively a PvE realm.
We could obviously go to PvE realms, but people wanted to remain on PvP realms for a reason.
My old realm is now 100% horde now.
And now those horde are also migrating to either Gehennas or Firemaw.
Yeah, come all to Firemaw. At Wotlk release we will have a 50000 queue - waiting time 12 hours.
