110 character boost through a new game copy?

Hi

Is it true that if I buy a brand new BFA game copy with new CD-key including a character boost to 110, I can make a new account e.g. WoW3 and redeem the key to that account, but then still use the boost on my primary account instead?

Okay cool, thanks. I just have to make the new WoW3 account under my Bnet account and it all works? :slight_smile:

Did for me in Legion and now BfA, ended up buying Legion a further 7 times (with gold) and had 8 boosts in total, done it 4 times in BfA so far and will do the remaining 4 next time it is on sale (if I get enough gold)
