The only critic I have so far is the fact you removed the 4% haste node. Haste is essential so the class feels somewhat fluid. Right now haste is already extremely low from gear.
Please replace the 4% mastery node with the 4% haste just for gameplay purposes. It feels a lot better and is required for fluid gameplay.

Almost none of the changes actually affect the principle issue, which was our ST performance as ret.
At this point I feel they should just give up and restore the DF ret play style, I did actually did more DPS with 520 gear at level 70 than I do now in 580 gear at level 80.

There is a bit, but for the most part it looks that way. That being said. I hope we dont have to wait till November for any ST buffs and that they will come much sooner

While it suits the style of a Prot Paladin to Help or “sacrifice” himself for others. This talent will kill us.
Imagine a dd keeps staying in a void because he gets NO dmg because of it XD Oh it will be funny to deal with that.
But in general the tree looks better i think.
Except the Haste part. Those 4 % will hurt if they dont buff the duration of Shield of Rightousness…

That talent is such a waste. You spend a point to make the game cast the spell for you, because you don’t have the presence of mind to do it yourself.

Im really not sure what to make of these talents.
Overall I think im happy with the changes. Far less compromise needed for the “main talents” and you can pick up most if not all of them without having to sacrifice something else. There is even “spare” talent points that you can move about with ease depending on what you are doing.
However…
A load of the new talents and part of the reason why there is a fair number of “spare” talent points are absolutely crap. Totally useless in 90% of situations. Quite a few of the tier 3 talents seem completely pointless to me outside of PvP or niche situations. Most of them I doubt many will take and those few you will, you only picked because you had talent points to spend and no where else to spend them.
We’ll have to wait and see if they increase in value with further changes. Im not unhappy with the new talents, but also not all that excited for them either.
P.S also these changes do nothing to address out damage output issues

Indicator for it is at the bottem left. Two times the same Armor talent for SOD… Looks like a “beta talent tree”.
an yes those weird talents that are only usefull in a certain scenario are meh. But we had this all the time. For example with the shield throw, the talent that shieldthrow deals more dmg BUT only if it hits just one target…
For raidboss only, maybe okay. But in almost any other szenario just useless.
I will try it atleast.
But i guess it will kill me. Normaly i like some auto stuff happening, but on blessing of sacrifice its dangerous.
