11.1 Liliuna <Thornborn Spirit> unable to use Knife on corpse - Invalid Target

Hi, went to do the atonement to tame Liliuna however whenever I use the knife it casts and says invalid target.

Comments on WoWHead suggest that this is a bug introduced in 11.1 - will this be fixed or is it no longer possible to tame the Thornclaws?

Yes - it is the correct knife. Tooltip states heart of a cat.
