11.1.7 - My experience so far

• BfA Timewalking dungeons are scaled with really weird level-differences, so they become unenjoyable.

• Lorewalking is a good idea, but why should someone care about the old story, if the new stories are not good?

• The Red Dawn campaign in Arathi Highlands is the worst story I’ve ever seen in this game hitting a new all-time low in terms of story quality.

• The One-Button-Rotation feature is semi-automation added to the game.

• I got the overcharged belt, and I expected a lot, but I didn’t feel any change in my gameplay or my power level.

• There is in general not really an epic atmosphere and the game has a very weak and lame vibe.

I gave wow another chance in The War Within due to Chris Metzen at Blizzcon promising this big epic world soul saga, but I didn’t enjoy the new story and atmosphere so far.

The gameplay content might have been entertaining me at first in season 2, but over time it’s getting very dry for me to only play M+ as endgame, and now it just feels like farming the same eight dungeons, and not like something I enjoy doing for the fun of it anymore, so I decided to take a long break.

All of this is highly subjective, and I hope that season 3 is gonna be better.

When I saw 11.1.7 I was like “it’s so over”. Then I see 11.2 and I’m like “We’re so back”.

Lorewalking is a good idea, that I like, and its implementation seems good, but why should someone care about the old story, if the new story is not good?

its for new players and old players who want to have a little casual fun that is all

its meant for all types of players and no matter the hyperbole and lies being told on the forums it is awful and can not compare to a players own skill.

its timegated so you do not have the full belt and full power yet as always.

I actually like it and its a vast improvement over SL and DF.

I understand that. It was pretty lame a level 10 could one shot the entire dungeon.

What I dont understand is, why does it have to feel like a mythic 10 to be level 24 in a TW dungeon where you get one shot by hitting a mechanic.

-Timewalking has always felt kind of chore though which is why i rarely have done those.

-Lorewalking just felt kind of boring and i would rather have had the pandaria version of it where Lorewalker Cho told us the stories to be honest.

-Arathi in general is something i really do not care much at all and only thing really they have going on is their wardrobe thats it mostly they are just boring with boring uninteresting stories and boring characters that i care less than npcs from gather 10 bear butt guests 20 years ago.

-one button rotation i just do not care at all. If aomeone wants to play like that good for them i just have no interest towards it.

-haven’t checked the belt yet.

-As for epic atmosphere personally i would actually like more grounded stuff rather than some anime level BS constantly where my character puts superman to shame with hes deeds.

Personally i like TWW but it has its ups and downs.
I like all the Dwarf stuff as its a breath of fresh air from 10+ yeara of constant elf elf elf elf orc orc human orc human elf elf stuff. And i loved Undermines i think wow really needs more stuff like that focus on races and stuff that doesnt constantly revolve around elfs orcs humans or worse Sylvanas.

So much agree with that statement, but you can bet midnight is going to be full on Belf/Velf.

Nice post Bro, and I would very much agree with the overall sentiment of it.

I recently levelled a hunter alt and chose to not skip campaign and spent time reading quests going through it, and I felt it was a good enough story. However, nothing much has progressed since then and that was several months ago. The lack of continuity of the main story is really shocking, imo.
