Basically the title. As it is right now there are very few reasons to bring a BDK to the raid/m+, please don’t kneecap the spec even more.
I am not sure if AMZ changes will make blood DK more attractive in raids, but in the dungeons we’re seem to be dumped into the ground.
- We’re losing significant portion of AoE damage after another round of blood beast nerfs + losing Undermine cleave bonus of Death Strike.
- AMZ cooldown is doubled and its reduced 6 seconds duration will probably not be enough to last through many channeling spells of m+.
- Our utility kit used to be very limited, but Abom Limb was one of our best utility spells. Now Blizzard COMPLETELY removes it and gives us NOTHING in return.
To sum up, 3 huge nerfs to damage and utility of a tanking spec that is currently ranked the lowest among tanks. Good job, morons at tuning department, your stupidity is legendary.

Think they indirectly nerfed Blood DK in M+ for both hero specs.
Not fond of losing the utility and aoe damage/threat with the loss of Abomination Limb.
Deathbringer change looks to be a nerf in defense and damage.
Awful ptr notes. 0 possitive changes in notes. Longer amz, no abimation limb. Nerfing deathbringer and san layn. Bad tier set…
I mean we all can switch to vdh I guess because fork me all we do does vdh better
It’s so annoying to see not a single good change since tww started for BDK
Death strike is horrible in comparison to DF
Our blood shield is non existing in higher content since we can’t build it up anymore with DS furthermore it’s cut in half for no good reason.
Now we lose

Amz for m+ is nerfed by 50%
Idk maybe it’s time to try a different class
Don’t forget to add the following:
- 80% nerf of blood beast damage for Sanlayne (they claim it to be 50% nerf, but on PTR currently Pact of Sanlayne reads “10% of dealt shadow damage is stored” vs “50% of dealth shadow damage”, that’s 80 nerf of ability into oblivion)
- crappy set bonus for Sanlayne, that, among other things, revolves around blood beast, which they just gutted down to do no damage 0 x 1.4 = 0, stupid devs).
- still dying from white hits of trash on m+ even under defensives.
- DPS DKs now have the same CD on Deathgrip as we do = you wanna bring DPS DKs into your group, not blood DK
- Vengance DH’s grip not only has twice as short cooldown (1 min vs our crappy GG’s 2min cooldown), it also works as interrupts, while GG does not.
Eventhough I have 3 more toons to play (including prot pala and prot warrior), their treatmeant of my favorite spec is so insulting, that I am thinking about unsubbing altogether in next season.
