11.2 PTR not launching/loading

I’ve been having a hell of a time trying to get the 11.2 PTR to run. The 11.1.7 PTR and live game run without any issue. I’ve done the following, and I’m sure others:

  • Multiple fresh installs of PTR and Bnet
  • Fully delete folders after uninstalling before trying yet another install
  • Reboots and full shut downs (including power drain) and then repeating the above,
  • Updated video drivers
  • Run it from the actual directory and not the Bnet client (including running as administrator)
  • Scan/repair option ran

After doing the above, I will see it in the task manager but it doesn’t seem to actually “launch”.

I have also submit a ticket. Reply gave me a list of things I’ve already done and told me to post on the forums. So, yeah. If anyone has some suggestions, I’d love to hear them. Thanks!

Have same problem - hopefully solution comes soon.

In the end, I turned off all virus scanners and such, and it loaded

Disabled avast stuff for 10 minutes and seemed to do the job - needed to reboot computer and do it before launching launcher first time to make it work. Thanks for the tip
