Looking at the 11.2.5 PTR build posted on mmo-champion, how do you guys read the change to Shadow Crash? Are they removing the target cap at 6 or what? A change from 6 targets to uncapped would be a fantastic QoL, but unsure if that’s what they mean with that description.
You mean this blurb?
Priest
- Shadow Crash Aims a bolt of slow-moving Shadow energy at the destination, dealing [ 68.79% of Spell Power ] Shadow damage to all enemies within 8 yds. Applies Vampiric Touch to up to 6 enemies, prioritizing ones without Vampiric Touch. Generates 6 Insanity. This spell is cast at a selected location.
Limited to 6 targets. 100 yd range. Instant.100 yd range. Instant.
Yeah correct
I tested PTR now and it does not seem to change the target cap unfortunately. /disappoint
While uncapped would be lovely, it would also be extremely powerful, and this is sadly just one of their text clarification fixes, to make it give the info once rather than twice
If they were to “uncap” it I would prefer it to be like it is at the moment, but when it’s on CD we would have the option to spend 30-45 insanity to circumvent the CD
Yeah, true. The problem right now is (even after the “bug fix”) that SC still doesn’t put dots on all targets when the amount of targets is at or below the target cap. Extremely annoying
Shouldn’t be that complicated, Blizz?..
Yeah the “fix” just made it worse
Imagine a world where Shadow doesn’t get reworked twice every expansion
I honestly miss S1 in DF so much. Mind sear heaven with free mind sear procs that just made you smile every time. Everything just felt right and the rotation made sense. The class just got so streamlined and boring with the new ST/multitarget combined rotation. So little variation. But here I am! Always giving my shadowy toon a new chance
Living the dream that one day - ONE DAY - we will shine once more. /end rp
