Not unexpected.

No banning amount will help the botting issue. Bots are very easy to implement and way too profitable in classic.

Way too profitable for Blizzard, that’s for sure.

For both, the bot user and for blizzard. As far as I know it’s more profitable for the bot user.

This is why having GMs monitor and act upon player reports would severely limit the number of bots, since the shorter a bot operates the less profitable it is. But of course, since Blizzard is also making money off them they want them to operate for as long as possible. The “ban wave” was just a PR stunt because these forums became a cesspool with every thread being about bots (I helped!).

Well chinese region is 100% clean of cheaters and bots xD … how easy that was …

1 2 years and only bots playing on classic, i’m bored it too and go back a private server.

After some time, I tried BG again, and again, there were 8 bots in AB on our side (prime time). One BG was enough for me. This takes so long to deal with. That is unacceptable. We should get our money back. We didn’t get what we were paying for. Does Blizzard wait until everyone leaves? I guess it is time to search for a new home.
