1366x768 Resolution?

So since there is no entire full screen anymore in wow, how can someone use 1366x768. Context, i have a low end laptop, a lenovo with 12 gb of ram and a amd ryzen 5 5500u, no gpu, only the cpu made 2gb vram wich leave me with 10 gb of ram up. My laptop default resolution is 1080p (17,3 inch display) but in more demanding games i use 1366x768, on this display it dosent realy feel diferent from 1080p at all, so i can get more fps and i can raise up some grahic settings. All nice and all, but on some raids and dwelvs it goes under 40 fps, wich is anoyng, i remember back in legion wow had both full screen and 1366x768 what the hell changed? Also any tips for some litle extra fps will be welcomed. Thx for the time.

1366x768 is HD
my previous monitor was 1366x768 but when i bought a new one i see the difference
1920x1080 is full HD
and yes for the frame rate
aftre after a point to above in graphic setting it doesnt matter what the monitor or resolution is . if your cpu or other things like graphic is not good enough you get less fps.
btw wow engine is old and you get less frame rates

Set the resolution in game to 1080p.
Then use render scale slider in the Graphics settings. Lower it to your desired resolution.

This will make the game scale the graphics down instead of your monitor running at a non native resolution. It will look better. Always keep a monitor running at its native resolution, especially a low end one.

they could have at least let the fullscreen full still in the game, the dx12 aint an excuse, i have several games (warframe for exemple) who use dx12 and alow exclusive full screen

i dont understand.
on my both monitors and the HD one i could make it full screen.
even with dx11.
maybe the problem is somewhere else?

you can make it fullscreen windowed wich is not the same as exclusive fullscreen, widowed usualy tend to have slightly less fps

as the other poster said render the scale of graphics to low .thats what i did when i was using surface pro 5 that had a very weak gpu in the past .i dont think 720 p mode exists in wow .it still exists in ffxiv so i dont know why wow removed it .maybe they thought their whole community now has beefy pc to play on

Do what I do. play it on a 55 inch screen with a screen resolution 3840 x 2160 that I had to play around with just so everything didn’t get swallowed up in a big black rectangle after a driver update…

Thanks Nvidia!

(I only use a big tv because I play a lot of other games on my pc and do a lot of other things.)
