1400 Practically impossible

Keep going against 220 glads at 1400.

How long until this gets fixed?

Oh? it isn’t? Why am I paying to play a broken game?

Weird, I leveled a new char on Monday and it’s at 1600 now.

Literally keep coming within 10/20 rating of 1400 and then end up against excessively high geared players. Might as well walk in naked.

Uhm, well, you’re an enh sham with 207 ilvl and you’ve been above 1400 already.
I’m 1480 on my shaman as resto which I got with 193 ilvl, now 197 with some extra conq pieces which I upgraded to 207.

It looks more like a gameplay thing, you can likely do better if you play with a proper healer and do your burst setups properly.

Bursting right as enh together with a healer who can keep you up for 3+ minutes on average should get you 1800+ with that gear. I’m not saying it’ll be easy, but just those two things as a foundation should lead to you not losing rating so much on such low mmr at least.
Just make sure you find a healer who can tell you what you need to do yourself, because def CD usage and self/offhealing is important to do well.

Dunno, hpriest friend of mine got 2.1k with 198 ilvl. It’s hard but not impossible.

I don’t really have issues with this class. It’s pretty easy and strong right now.

I’m having issues as a destruction warlock at 200 item level. I’m rarely against people of 200 item level and when I am, I tend to win.

Well~ he probably played with someone who either got gear or had enough gear for a oneshot trick, like hpriest+fire mage.

Do what the streamers does. Play double deeps if you’re destro! :joy:

Or play the long, boring games with an rdruid or hpriest.

He played with me.

Yeah, see. You’ve got gear!

And what do you think we are facing between 2.1 and 2.2 mmr?

Yeah, but facing a lock is very scripted and pretty punishing if done wrong, so his gear wasn’t having as big of an impact as it would’ve had vs. teams that plays according to the script. Which I wouldn’t really say is a thing on 2.1-2.2k mmr.

So yeah, the fact that you were geared as a lock, carried pretty hard.

So you’re saying that you don’t face r1 players and boosters and this mmr contrary to what people constantly claim here?

Well~ there’s a big difference between 1 knowing how to play, and 2 knowing how to play. Often it’s the one who doesn’t who ends up being the easiest kill target.

Or are you saying the r1 players and boosters didn’t LoS you when they should? :joy:

So you’re saying it’s a l2p issue when people don’t manage to get to 1400 and that it’s not the geared people/boosters/r1 players that keep them from getting it?

Not exactly. It’s not something I’d describe in such an absolute term. I went over this in another thread the other day, I’ll see if I can find it…

There’s the first post, just follow the back-and-forth and you’ll get the gist of what I mean.

i’m 1800 with 195 ilvl you should probably just play more

I’ve played over 190 arenas on my warlock and I have 201 item level. 23% vers. All vers gear.

Druids are imba any way with huge survival, utility and movement etc…

it was the same on my ele sham i can do it on any class, its not impossible

It’s way too hard pal. Way too hard.

Getting 1.4 for lousy 207 gear should be easily achievable with 2.2k being the hardest.

Sure, but you said in your post that it’s practically impossible when it’s not.
