From what i saw on PTR they are changing the file structure of the game and maybe thats why we are seeing such a huge patch.
From what im understanding, this change will allow us to have Retail + PTR and the future Beta client in the same WoW folder with files shared between the clients which will remove the need of having multiple WoW installs if you want to try PTR and the Beta.
