So its been months and this have not been adressed yet as far as i know.
Its been so long that there are already conspirancy theories out there, and some of them do quite make sense:
its intentional to make people clash with glads and try to find easier, lighter pvp gameplay like PERFECTLY NEW BATTLEGROUND BLITZ MODE!
to significantly reduce queue times for all modes (solo shuffle queues for dps are around 5-15 minutes instead of 60 minutes like in dragonflight)
Anyways, it would be nice to adress this. It really sucks to play one game at 1600 rating that takes 10 seconds because you play completely new guys, just to enter next and play 3400,2700,2900 players (thats literally guys i have met today on 1500-1600 mmr).
Long time wow player here, first time hard trying in pvp. Barely broke 1600.
When arenas look like this. I can’t even imagine to introduce someone completly new to the game to rated pvp. Playing multiple times a session against multiglads at 1400-1600 range isn’t fun.
Inb4 they are just on alts on their way to their REAL mmr : )
It’s been years by now, Dragonflight dropped 2 years ago. Ever since RSS dropped, the rest of the brackets is unplayable, and RSS became unplayable with s2; except now BGB is playable.
Blitz has the same problem as with solo shuffle at the beginning. The rating discrepancy is too great. Only around 1800 it gets better. For example, my alt with only 1500 rating plays with people who have 300-500 rating. When I win I will get +10. If I lose I will get -7. Its hard to get to 1800. Too little profit for the time invested. 10 minutes in line 20-30 minutes of play. And for winning with such a low rating you get less than playing arenas that last a maximum of 10 minutes.
If people notice that they stop going up at 1500, they will quickly give up and the queues will get longer.
on top of it add the fact that saddles are still bugged. When i bounce betwenn 1500-1600, conquest capped, no saddle progress then bruh. Why do I even suffer?
