So… after equipping 3x icy citadel with Icecap, I’m able to frequently hit the 16k mark on strength and this is without even using strength proc trinkets.
My base strength is 8000
How can it even be allowed in the first place? literally double primary stat… I mean even 20% should be a pretty significant increase in damage but letting me effectively double my strength, we’re going a little too far surely?
Again, I can only imgine what would happen if I had a strong on-use and proc strength trinket occuring at the same time… I could potentially be looking at over 20k at that point.
The sad thing about this is with that much strength at my disposal, my damage “should” be astronomical but it is still terrible even at double the regular strength value.
This may actually account for why the frost dk is in such a bad state, it is reliant of buffing it’s strength and yet strength just doesnt provide enough damage output for whatever reason.
Because this far into the expansion, primary stats aren’t as useful. Last time i simmed, 1 point of crit was almost worth 3 points of str. or something like that.
This is not a DK issue, it applies to every class.
Actually, it is a dk issue because our main dps cooldown specifically increases strength and not total damage like normal cooldowns do as well as our basically forced enchant choice being a strength increase proc.
Yes, its sad If its works properly thats will be great alternative to sindragosa - i mean main stat, but the main problem with sindragosa not coz its just awful burst cd with “no mistakes mechanic or u lost everything”, but its no rewarded properly. U can do everything good with 160% accurate and still be…em…not so great. U need to do so much to take so little. There is a tones of situations where u can drop it down and lost all DPS.
P.S. I’m still thinking that if spend more time on spec mechanic than on encounter there is something wrong in ur spec.
