I returned around 3 weeks ago from 10.0 and try to get the 1800 set from Blitz and I found both the matchmaking and the rating reward ridiculous?
I won that crap game and only gained 32 rating. How could I get these few?
I don’t think this matters but I did the most damage on my faction.
On top of that I have noticed several dudes with 0 MMR while only 5 ppl in that game are around 2K, in this so-called 2.1K game
Is it just because of the season’s timing or it always works like this?
You’re mixing up CR and MMR. CR is limited to +/- 35, while MMR can move much faster. If your MMR goes up too fast you will only be able to queue in the evening when the 2600+ degenerates play. If it goes down too fast your character is bricked and you get no matches at all anymore. Have fun!
MMR/CR is the prime example of a needlessly convoluted and complicated system, that is designed purely to function as a hamster wheel.

But before my previous game my rating (I take it CR?) was increasing very fast, +200ish IIRC…so at certain rating it stops climbing that fast?
Should I be worrying about losing as much CR in a game where MMR is much higher than mine? I bet the next game it would probably be about 2200 which is far higher than where I belong
It stops at 1600. In shuffle this can actually be exploited a little bit by trying to get close to 1599 and then going 6:0 one shuffle for instant 1800. There’s a formula to get the perfect streak.
