Give it over with this 65-35 rubbish. Looking at both EU and US it is currently 45-55 at 120 and about even/slightly alliance heavy if we take into account 1-120.
You’re never going to get a 50/50 split whatever you do and players have been whining over this since about 3 months into vanilla.
The fixes you have proposed are like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut and aren’t actually in favour of ‘balance’ in any way, shape or form.
I just looked at realm pop again and REALLY? that’s why you are complaining again? Like where were you when the faction imbalance was bigger than the 55/45 we have now at 120. It’s insane.
Not to mention alliance still dominate overall in the game 50.2 to 49.8. But let’s just take 120 where it’s 55/45 it’s already going better than a couple of months ago and my guess is in order to modifiy this balance they just need to add a really cool race to the alliance.
What top guilds do has nothing to do with balance sorry to dissapoint you. If they added the coolest race ever and give trash to horde i can guarantee you horde will dwindle but the top guilds will still stay horde because of racials. The other can be said if they try to do buff an alliance racial.
They need to nerf troll racial(active) to be on a longer duration/lower impact on burts and bam you pretty much nerfed the last good horde racial. There are so many better dps racials on alliance(yes they are just do your research) the reason they aren’t used yet is that berserking from horde allows lower amount of dmg to be pumped in a short window,so overall while the alliance has better dmg racial because berserking can be used in conjuction with burst phases it’s more important for high end raiders.
It’s so hard to talk to people that don’t even get why berserking is powerfull and why top guilds use it, this tier the troll shuffle suddenly was important for jaina ,this is the same case with Belf silence on zul and goblins on KJ. This are situational racials that have been good on (insert 1 boss) in the last 5 raid tiers…
If you want to talk about racial imabalance fiind amethod to balance berserking without affecting it’s functionality(don’t turn it into a stupid passive you are alienating the race ,berserking goes way back to W3).
I agree with this sentiment. I couldn’t have cared less when I chose my Faction, who was winning the WF race. We had server firsts for levelling, maxing professions etc back then too. Never cared for those either.

Did you PvP in WoD on Horde, thought not, anyone serious about PvP rolled human for the racial.
Fix the imbalance within a month and then proceed to create a HUGE Alliance domination within the second month. Just have the same problem but stronger and with the other faction?

There was a time were human and Undead was considered OP races, not to mention Dwarf ( pve priest )
Also, why does a 346 ilvl holy pala who don’t do end content care about racials?
no they wont, for the reasons people have said below. you are obviously trolling and creating a situation that confuses other less informed players and lazy gms.
we are talking about TWO racials only really:
troll racial has been in game since vanilla and has been nerfed from 20% for 10 sec in cata to 10% for 12 sec now. is 12 seconds of 10% haste THAT game breaking for people who are not at the top end of min maxing and have a perfect rotation and gear? it dont effect me with my guild “carrying me” through raids at the end of the tier, and it doesn’t effect you who didn’t even complete uldir lfr.
second is zanda racial which is only a heal buff, not dps, and most likly will be nerfed even more as people can see how op it is in its previous forms, though devs dont seem to.
BUT i think i found the real reason. upon checking your hidden profile for progression, i see you’re on Draenor server, the highest horde pop server in the EU. of COURSE you think horde are all over the place, draenor isn’t linked to other servers so you are stuck on the 92nd worst server for alliance.
changing racials wont save alliance on Draenor server… -_-

I have no idea what that site even is and any site that requires you to manually add guilds seems a bit iffy.
For the record, YOU are his horde counterpart, taking every opportunity to poop on the Alliance.
