Long story short, stopped playing retail in 2015. Started wow classic on a different bnet just to give it a try, ended up playing BFA. Got some hard/timeconsuming achievements on new acc (mechagon meta, 2400 2v2 rating and tons of collectibles).
Now I’m planning to play TWW but on my old, main account (MOP CM sets, rare stuff, so can’t just abandon it). I wanted to get some achievements/collectibles I’ve missed (legion, bfa, shadowlands) before the release and thought that I could just merge both accounts to dodge grinding BFA stuff.
I’ve opened a ticket and the first GM I’ve encountered told me that they can do it but after I’ve asked if the achievements and etc will migrate the other GM told me that it’s impossible and blizz can’t help me. I’ve been told that I can transfer a character to other bnet but all the achievements and collectibles will remain on the alt account. Is there any workaround to solve my issue and merge my bnet accounts?

you can transfer the characters, but none of the goodies(mounts pets achieve and whatnot) will transfer over iirc
It is no longer possible to merge any BNET accounts as per Blizzard policy to further combat RMT trading.
No, there is no workaround.

From what ive read on the EU and US customer support forums, only the character itself with the inventory. So it would be possible to cage pets and store them into your bags for some of them to transfer

But unfortunately, it will be something like that as you’ll not get a complete and detailed list of what will and won’t.
As Twiluna said, everything in the bags will likely atleast but everything beyond that is up for the gods to decide.
Maybe transferring the character(s) that earned the feat of strengths for things like the CM rewards can work if they still are purchasable from the vendors but i reckon that still is a bit of a gamble.
