Question 1:
I have tamed Fenryr in Mythic which is cool. Is it possible to tame a 2nd Fenryr on reset to have two matching via Animal Companion talent?
Question 2:
Is it worth me trying to master Marksmanship Hunter over my preferred Beast Mastery spec in order to be better in Shadowlands or do you think the damage difference will be minimal?
edit: My concern with this is I don’t really understand the rotation

Yes you can tame another for a matching pet :>
We don’t know how balancing will end up being, so if you’re more comfortable playing BM/playing on a casual level then you can play it just fine.
Q1- Was already replied, nothing to add.
Q2- My personal opinion on such matters is simply this: Play whatever you enjoy the most and/or you are confortable with. I for example, play Survival Hunter despite being considered the worst spec out of the 3, yet because I like it and I feel confortable with it I don’t find much trouble. My dmg isn’t the best sure, my gear is still in need of upgrades and my stats still need to be better balanced between themselves, yet in the few raids I did, or even when killing world bosses in party, etc, I find myself usually placed about 1/3 or upwards in DPS of the whole raid party. So, as you can see despite playing with the spec considered the worse, and still lacking in the gear department, I don’t find myself at the bottom, or in a “bad place”.
To conclude, if you enjoy BM more than MM, just go with BM. In my experience is better to play something sub-optimal but with joy, rather than playing something optimal without enjoying it.
Tbh you just need to get rid of any gear that doesn’t have haste on it and then work on getting rid of any excess mastery. The spec is fine, for all the content its just less preffered due to being melee, BM does more DMG and is ranged instead.
General consensus is: Play what you want, but if you wanna plays whats best you will get told what’s best.
