2 sites, same guy making the guide

Hey guys, there is something I dont get. The same guy making guides for Rshamans on two different sites (not sure about rules so I wont include the full name but im sure you guys know them) is suggesting different approach to the spec. In one suggesting some gear and traits and in the other website different stuff for pvp/arenas. Those websites are icyv***s e skillc**ed. I havent been playing/active seriosly in a bunch of expansions so I dont know what should I follow anymore for this stuff

I think those sites are some of the most used by players, and I think I have seen some of the Blues recommend them too :slight_smile:

The fact that the rshaman pvp guide says torrent is better than unleash life, doesnt mention anything about taking turn of the tide azerite trait at least one of, yet says the talent that adds chain heal to the healing stream, says in its “best comps” could be with a frost dk in 2v2, and doesnt mention the best 2v2 comp for shaman (DH), says shaman is the target trained by 2 melee (i mean with x3 pack spirit and ghost wolf talents its the hardest healer for 2 melee to train down)

Sure my shaman isnt that high but look at cdew, or look at drainer, or any other rank 1 resto shaman. Look at their gear and talents. The icy veins guide is wrong on so many fundamental levels, and i know it is for other classes as well. Its not bad for pve guids but for pvp guides it appears to be a joke

Im not sure about websites. Usually what i do is look up say the top 10 rated players on worldofwargraphs, and see what gear and azerite and talents they choose. Also look up a vid or 2 on youtube each new patch. Cdew did a decent rdruid one in 8.1 for example. Xaryu always puts put good mage guides. Etc

I find sites can put out wrong info, or may be out of date

Ret guide on icy veins is the worst guide i ever seen.

They say divine purpose and wog is a must on high pvp, and critical strike is good stat on pvp, which isnt. No one the guide says is true.

trust them they turned wm on and went to world quest and killed all mobs with ease

skill-capped = costs money

figure yourself.

Wowhead has legit guides for PvP.
