2 wow.exe running the same time

2 wow.exe running the same time and its using a lot of ram and cpu and its making my fans in my computer get realy hot and loud can anyone help me with this ive tried uninstalling the game and doing a repair but to no luck its still there.

Also multiple Bnet apps in the task manager are running and using cpu memory and it says there are 4 open and i don’t know what to do its really weird.

Almost certainly normal, depending where you are looking for those.

If you look in the Windows Task Manager -> Expand -> Processes you should see that WoW has only WoW (plus maybe voiceproxy) running under it when you expand it. Battle.net launcher itself has several processes but none of them should not take much memory (eg. for me I have four Battle.net processes taking 6 MB, 100 MB, 48 and 150 MB).

If some WoW process is stuck you can try closing it from the task manager or eg. restarting the computer. Be warned that it might corrupt/remove your addon settings so make sure to have backups of them.

i did uninstall the game and i lost all my addons but i got them back and and its not the last night when i was downstairs i came up and my computer was red hot from where the fan is but i did have wallpaper engine on and thats takes a lot of ram and gpu and cpu up so i think them two together made my computer get a little too hot i just get scared that it might over heat my computer when ive only had it 3 months

Properly designed computer shouldn’t overheat, and if it does they should shutdown automatically. Obviously if your area is suffering from high temperatures ambient temperature might be pretty high which can cause issues especially to laptops or some premade computers with tiny cases and inefficient cooling.

There are programs which can be used to monitor computer temperatures.

do you know what they are called?

I have used HWInfo for most part. When starting the program you can select “Sensors only” to view only the sensor (temperature etc.) readings rather than everything.

Depending on your system configuration you will see several temperatures, from multiple readings of CPU (core, different locations), motherboard (multiple reading again), GPU (graphics card) etc.

Thank you :}

Generally anything under 80C for CPU/GPU under load isn’t critical, bit hot but not dangerously so. Both CPU and GPU can be even higher and they will automatically throttle if they are overheating. If you want more specific advice you need to post your computer specs.

Many premade computers might have high as 50C to 60C idle temperatures, especially if the room temperature is high. I know I have pretty high idle temperatures (around 40 to 50C depending on the component) right now because room temperature is close to 35C but load temperatures are not much higher compared to “normal” room temperature.

at the moment its 21 degrees outside and my room is like a box room how do i get my specs up
