Not true about the phone thing. There are videos of people on yt speaking to blizz customer managment after getting banned.
How can you verify that the youtuber is really speaking to Blizzard?
There are no numbers to call Blizz on. There is only Live Chat (Which cannot be used for ban appeals) or Phone Callback (Which cannot be used for ban appeals).
This coupled with the supposed “2 year” ban… makes me call this fake news.

I did talk to blizz back in the days on phone when i lost my acc when i was a kid, i did say my code from the book and i got my account back 
Support was alot better back in the days when blizz actually had people working for them.

Yeah, exactly what I’m talking about. My brother called Blizz when he got hacked. These greenposters always think they know everything, lol.
You could call them “back in the day”… not anymore. If you think I am wrong, please do post the Customer Support telephone number. You won’t find one.

That option is no longer a valid option as the numbers have been removed.
Normally people who do this once, do this all the time, dude is probably scared he´s gonna get caught aswell.

Criminals are mostly thick, and they are always poor because payback always gets them in the end 
next time tell your son to not share account even with friend, but invite that friend at your place to “play togheter”…

Actually some people I know got banned for 2 week for the mage tower thing.

Afaik Blizzard can still call you for certain things. It’s rare but you can actually get a “call back” option for a small limited amount of things. However I’ve never seen or heard Blizzard doing calls for people who have been banned, Normally that’s email only.
The call option is a rare pop up for urgent account issues afaik.
Account sharing can result in a straight up long ban, but it is usually done in periods of time no matter what offence.
If you get banned for writing bad things its 3 days, then you get banned for botting its a week, banned for letting a friend play its this and that. It keeps stacking up no matter what crime you commit.
Although certain cases such as account sharing might deal bigger punishments, I was banned for 5 months for botting fishing during MOP. Boring boring proffession.
