200,000 gold to save my current sets on 2 characters, and I usually run 5/6 per season. This game is turning to crap.
No doubt you will be able to buy slots and upgrades with Hearthsteal in the future.

Do you like use all 5/6 at the same time like cycling them in short order? Or do you change into one and stay in the longer period of time? Because if Latter you don’t need 5-6 slots and as far as I know they cost little above 10k to unlock that many. You also no longer need to pay each time you get a new piece of gear within a season but you have increased cost of saving an outfit in the slot.
Summarizing the up front cost is higher but unless you adjust and swap things withing your saved set often it should balance out over the course of the season as switching between saved outfits sets is free.

5/6 characters not Transmog and I was being generous as a total cost to kit out 2 character fully in the system is 1.6 million gold.
That’s only if you intend to save and constantly swap between 20 different outfit sets at once. The slots aren’t your item slots. They’re an entire saved outfit sets that while having higher cost to set up (though we don’t know if beta numbers are final) allow you to swap between saved outfits for free.
First 2 slots for outfits are free and the cost for 8 next is around 16k total.
6k a transmog for me currently and I also have about 30 alts.
You can defend it if you like… good luck.
Given the hyper inflation of gold we’ve seen over the couple expansions, has anybody seen how much gold max level world quests are granting in Midnight?
Again after you register that transmog you’ll be able to effectively swap in and out of it for free. Out of curiosity since you apparently tested it how much was one time swapping into it costed you on retail?
I assume you have been on beta and tested it all yourself… if you are going to talk about it did you test it.
