208 bear no chacne in torgasht wtf

and choose the right class, that actually has those better animapowers!

No, every class is able to do it

Yea but not to the extent that you lol one shot the boss with a flamestrike.

I think you basically answer ypur self here, it’s all down to anima power and what you get Run 1 can be a disaster, while run 2 is a cakewalk.

This is my major problem with Torghast, you don’t know if you’re wasting your time or not on that run, since the entire run is decided by factors not tied to your skill, but rather RNG.

My group managed by luck and all lives to do layer 1. I couldn’t keep people alive because they got 1 hit by random things. It’s impossible toheal someone who gets 1 shot.

So they can all get one shot in the same time right. Think man  use your head.

Sure, but that’s not needed either

It’s really not that bad though. If you full clear every floor, you’re going to have 100+ anima powers by the time you’re on floor 18. I’ve yet to die once in the twisting corridors and I’ve done the first 5 layers so far, it’s not about RNG. It can become a lot easier with good RNG, but with the amount of anima powers you get to see, that’s not going to be the deciding factor in the vast majority of runs, and what does matter is the choices you make.

lol

Not hard

I didn’t even know anything like that existed, and the fact that you’re using it just goes to show that you’re not particularly good

Clearly not since you couldn’t do it

 Just because you and another 2-3 classes can hit the boss with 3 mill that doesn’t mean the game is good. I did it twice. Collected every single thing. YES. Never had more than 80 anima powers. Go have a look yourself what orbs a DH can get and then compare them to your mage or a shaman. Yeah, you’ve got your broken mage and managed to do it like that, woaw, much skill, such wow

I mean I literally know people who play other classes (like demon hunter) who also had a super easy time doing it

Git gud

Link and I believe  I’ll be waiting

Not going to link anyone I know out of respect for their privacy, all I know is the demon hunter I spoke to who did it said it was super easy, said he had over 2m health and just kinda walked through it

Here’s a demon hunter who’s done layer 4 thus far though

Okay  you’re linkin me a guy in full mythic gear  thats like the top 1% of the player base. Read back, ppl are getting one or two shot by bosses so its clearly broken. I walked through on the first layer without a problem, never died. How come I’m constantly getting nuked on layer 2? It’s not about skill, it’s about getting the best orbs ( and what I meant, that I’m picking the best possible orbs in that particular scenario) in the first 5 floors and stacking them up until 18. Which clearly wasnt working out for me. I’m not a mythic raider, I agree with you on that, but I always managed to earn my place in HC raiding and on higher keys, which is way better than the average wow guy. And If Im keep getting one or two shot like this on the last boss constantly then somethings not okay with the system. Like I said, I’m not a pro, but Im not that bad either

I beat you there - 100!

I just See that content waste of time.

Layer 4 - most common reason to die - falling off the bloody map.

If you fail, you need more anima powers. This guy had 30 on the last boss, you should have close to 100. Also item level doesn’t matter since all of your dps/healing/health comes from anima powers.

Get gooder.

Layer 5 - most common cause of death - I am falling asleep and not dodging stuff.

194 ilvl, completed first 7 layers. Had three deaths 1-6. Layer 7 have been a bit challenging, with boss on floor 18 having close to 8 mil HP. Hoping to complete 8 later today.

You still get oneshot
but you also got a battle rez
or maby find a paladin with a bubble

i dont know,
excrement happens
sometimes you lose and you get nothing
guess what, thats life, thats the challenge

So i finally figured it out as DH tank:

Every tank class has the same issues. For me I got deleted on layer 7 and 8 too. What I did for layer 8 and literally oneshot everything:

I knew that I wanted the skeleton or fallen-angel guys as floor 1-6 since they are by far the easiest. My preferred order for the floors

1-6 is skeleton-guys (dropping 1-2 lens of elchaver - the arcane procc for crits in combination with constant immolation aura + crit increase powers)

7-12 angels (chance to get the flat dmg reduction with 25% and you can buy the 250 currency orb in floor 6 that transforms one of the angels into a passive that gives you 5% haste per killed mob)

12-18 (whatever comes, since you out sustain and dmg it by that point easily)

Literally 150k-240k EZ dps

Choreghast is hardly a challenge. But if he dies instantly to a first attack, its unlikely to be saved by friends or BR. He just failed a one shot mechanic.
