u enter the boss room there is a npc selling stuff power ups what makes u immune to some boss mecanics … priventing u to be 1 shooted …
Current event “Darkening of Tristram” is actually similar to torghast minus anima powers, but we have those sets that give 20 000% damage from certain skills so i would take it as anima power replacement and voila, we have torghast in Diablo 3 
Tried again today with killing everything, it works well so far. RNG is still playing major role, i finished l4 with 12k vivify and 150k hp, in my l5 run i had really bad powers ending with only 7k vivify and 70k hp. Immune to damage expired before boss was finished, if it was some caster boss i would have been dead within few seconds.
Like m+ bosses have mechanics Also Thorghast bosses have some.Boss u talking about cant move or he stack and stack hard…Lack of knowlege Has nothing to do with torghast or item lvl. Lack of knowlege=Salt

The fact that you died, kinda disagree with that statement.
Your ignorance on tank crit immunity would suggest you’re knowledge of class mechanics is low.
Why not learn your class properly and look up a guide and come up with a tactic that will let you succeed.

u simple do this
- Make a moonboy
- level the moonboy to level 60
- buy a full set of 226 BIS gear from AH
- Wisit Torgast
- inside Torgast spam sunfire and starfall run around like a mad chicken dot up every mod u see
- if u take damage self heal
i havea feeling that the moonboys will be soon nerfed 
So if I don’t move he can’t melee hit me? Good to now…will try that in my next run…

u should try eat that bitter pill and admit u wasnt rdy to boss cause u dont know mechanics. Thats all pretty much.I did as Frost DK 201item lvl (under perfoming class at any content) same boss only one thing u need just to run around him to avoid aoe dont let do steps and u win. Then he wont stack … I dont have any OP anima powers my best bet is strenght % increase and heals from any sources.My biggest hit during burst is like 60k or so nothing special.Just follow mechanics like 90% wow content.

Possible…but he still trying prove the fault is on torghast side and also trying to prove he know content because he went mythic+ and raid or whatever so that means his fail in torghast is blizzard fault.
who would want to test such long boring runs anyway. The only reason people do torghast is to get their soul ash and for the questline.

Just finished 7, things started bugging out pretty bad.
Hi . Im a druid and i managed to solo clear multiple layer 8 in different places in torghast.
At my first layer 8 succesful run was a solo tank run. i must say its very close in difficulty to mage tower challenges from Legion times.(not as hard as it is though)
After my first succesful attempt; I realized i should try another different torghast region with my main feral spec ; my combo heal helped me alot. So i succeeded in my feral spec also.
After that ; i realized torghast is much more based on how to clear mobs ; carefuly ‘‘picking’’ elites and doing good dps along with kiting and interrupting casts.
I dont want to annoy , or summon ‘‘salt elemental’’ to your wound on unsuccesful runs ; but let me tell you the truth. Problem is you; you are doing something wrong. I succesfully completed all my runs at much lower ilvl than you. (im 195 ilvl as feral dps atm)
If you think you are struggling with dps rotation ; or lack in dps ; i suggest you bring a lot of damage boosting potions and drums for the last boss.
If you think you are wiping only at boss ; and getting one shotted ; i think you are doing something wrong . You should check youtube and inspect for specific boss mechanics from torghast.

For all that can’t read or don’t want to. On one of the posts all was explayned. But I also found a solution for the problem. I got a grp and we made shure we had a retpally in it. He did 90k singletarget dps, had bubble for all and I just took all animapowers that made me tankier. Did not take ANY animapower with the word “but” in it and see we did it in a breeze.
So easy mode is:
- get ret pally
- enjoy the show
yeah i do know that. and again. who would ever want to test something like torghast.

There is another anima that reduce your MD target dmg taken by 90% as well.
For not saying “a kodo pet is damn OP”, 20% more healing gain, it have leech and a auto shield at low hp.
Here we go. You skip like 60% of available buffs yet dare imply there is no fault on your side.
