This event is promoted as being open from lvl 30+, including the raid and other content.

Don’t bother if you’re not lvl 80 with TWW.

I’ve just sat in a queue for almost an hour for Chromie’s Codex just for it to say I’m not eligible to zone in due to not owning TWW (I’m primarily a Classic player but I still wanted to check this out!)
Why can you even queue it then?

I joined the BRD raid - only to discover if you’re below lvl 80 you get NOTHING. No currency, no keys, no loot. Not even lvl 80 stuff I could wear if I decide to purchase TWW later. Just nothing.
Why can you even enter the raid from lvl 30?

I left once I realised and now I have deserter - so the only piece of content I can do and get rewards from (Dungeons) I’m locked from for 30 minutes.

Besides all that, the currency grinds seem painfully slow. You also can’t access half the quests without TWW so I probably can’t unlock everything.

The area is dead, nobody is talking and I’ve only seen a handful of players.
Isn’t this supposed to be a celebration of WoW? A thanks to players for sticking around so long?

A GM told me this was a bug, whether that’s true or not I don’t know, but the event runs for a few months so they got time to fix/change it if so.

I don’t understand why they’d do that, surely if it dropped items with red text saying “TWW required, level 80 required” it might encourage people who enjoyed the raid to try TWW.

I am still lvl 70 too.
After experiencing the same thing you have i tried to queue for chromie’s event and it said same, go buy TWW to participate

This issue is meant to be fixed now. Try again and see if it works now.

I noticed a red warning text on the reward for that saying it requires level 80 so I didn’t even try to queue yet. I’m only level 77.

My enthuses for this event wasn’t particularly high to begin with but is almost entirely drained now. I’ve not done anything, not even killed the world boss.

Level cap req is unnecessary.
The level of grind is unwarranted.
The removal of the mail with a couple hundred badges and a xp / rep buff (should be 20% this year) was disappointing.

If I can work up some enthuses for this over the next few weeks then maybe I’ll do some of it.
I might get some toys or pets or something.

And where’s my WoW’s 20th Anniversary achievement???

Nope still same chromie lets me queue but when it starts i can’t tp to dungeon.
The other npc tells me straight i do not meet the requirement to queue.
