2/3rds of Silvermoon will be Neutral

You’re now gonna get bombed with “Horde have access to Gilneas and Bel’ameth!” which the Alliance considers cities.
An area we already had access to and a RP area with no city facilities like banks or auction houses, that is so far out of the way that Horde would never go there. Not even by accident.

I cannot wait for this day, let me loose on the little gnomes >:)

Honestly we shouldn’t have had access to either of them in the first place. Makes no sense. I guess we will get Exodar to compensate later.

Try telling the night elves that Bel’ameth is their new city :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Btw, there was a new interview, in which they said:

-“Neutral” Silvermoon causes tension between the Alliance and Horde to skyrocket, as Alliance players will be made to feel unwelcome and unsafe in the city and blood elves worry the Alliance is “acting like they own the place.” (1)

Also, -This tension and unrest between the Horde and Alliance will continue to grow as the story progresses, potentially leading a new faction conflict (this is probably the set up for the new battleground). (end)

Perfect match?
I mean… You do realize there’s VERY different people playing both factions, right?
So I find your remark very strange. It’s probably meant as some kind of insult? Maybe?
I can’t even tell, honestly. It’s just a very weird remark.

And the sad thing is: Both those places SHOULD be full blown cities with all the amenities. But instead we have useless hulls that are meant to represent great cities.
So yeah… Tell me again about that alliance bias, please. :dracthyr_shrug:

It’s a capital village, it’s still mind-boggling that the conclusion of the plodding 7-year storyline woven in and out of three expansions was… that.

The “It doesn’t matter that it’s shared, it’s not a city anyway”-argument is just trading one problem for another.

And after whi they handled those its unlikely that we got to see them as full citys.
Thez had after yeas now finished the lose end in Gilneas which was more then sunsatisfying and was just lovelessly slapped together just ti have something for the patch ti show and finish thes kose end.
That it and we will fir years again nit hwra anything about it because Out of sight out of mind.

While the horde got a full functional city with a revampe which exclusive parts only for them while the alliance on the other hand got didnt get anything similar heck even we must ensure horde there-mo alliance asked for.

And then the hordlers wonder why Allianz is complaining loudly about why they feel they are being treated unfairly

I am seeing Blizzard blow hot and cold with the factions.

One minute we are all in it together, with Horde rocking Alliance style mounts and vice versa, the next kill on sight shenanigans are mooted.

Why haven’t they made kos a pvp warmode only thing ?

Warmode off :
If you wander off you get sapped and dropped off at base.

More serious issues = sapped and booted to a faction leader for a sharp word and cleaning duties to remove an annoyance debuff.

The only reason I can think for the area restriction is, the link to the starter area for blood elves.

Or maybe, Blizzard listens to Horde communities as more of them do raiding, which keeps Ion in a job ?.

At least you got Bel’ameth after Teldrassil was destroyed. The Forsaken are still living as Refugees in the ruins of our capital.
And Gilneas got reworked into an area for Alliance RPers, when do the Goblins get to return to Kazan?
After Varian died Stormwind got a nice Makeover too, whole new area added to the destroyed one.
When Embasseys were added the Horde one was just put into an existing building in Orgrimmar, while Stormwind got a huge new area behind stormwind with a farm and some RP areas like a little Picnic area.

Still nit a fully city by your standards since it lacks key facility’s like bank or auction house.

Which even you horde player cant enter while alliance cant in Sm certain areas.

The makeover start in cata whith hd assets byt also a large potential got destroyed (frornt entry the tiwers, the clock tower and the whole park district vanished in a big burning gap while OG got alsor an makeover while didn’t get any dmg.

Thez fix he damaged areas years later with legion, which was the basis fir memes hiw poorly Blizzard the Allianz treated

Sure, but I don’t think most night elf players are actually happy with what they got.
Do you think Forsaken players would settle for a field with a few dead trees and some creepy tents and they call it a ‘city’?

Oh, I guess UNDERMINE slipped your mind??
Worgen players probably wish that Gilneas was anywhere near that level of detail.

In my opinion it’s a boring ugly area. Such a waste of space. It was also to repair the damaged part of SW that had been like that since Cata. Org didn’t suffer any such damage and actually got a cool update in Cata.

Anyway, Stormwind is THE capital. It needs a Boralus level update. And yeah, the same goes for Orgrimmar.

I’m hoping that’s what we’ll get after this saga is done.

We owe the alliance nothing. Stormwind should burn.
