Anything that makes you have more health than the damage it deals allows you to survive it. Mostly it ends up being shield effects (Cocoon is one example, but PW:Shield + the Premonition shield can work etc) and damage stagger, because it can’t be pure health since the spell is obly usable below 10%, and it cannot be damage reduction since the spell ignores it. Honorable mention for Intervene if the Warrior has like 75% health or more.
Im suprised ToD actually proc’d, literally never does
Rogues have a passive one which always procs even when there not on you
It’s not 1:1 the same. MoP one was even more brutal. If you Intervened someone as Warrior and he got ToD used on him then you’d die 100-0 no matter what CD you pressed. It literally killed the character. Now I’m not sure how much it deals but more than 50% of max HP. 80-90% maybe so if you Intervene someone and Wall as Warrior it won’t be that bad.
But yeah overall you are right it’s more or less the same.

That’s how it was. So it’s not as brutal anymore
its 35% of the monks maximum hp
Makes sense.
thats what i ask myself, since this thread exist
because of it, i have had really often the situation that i killed a guy with rising sunkick, before i even can use my execute, and i spamed it with my other finger in the same time
sometimes this execute is good, and sometimes the worst in the game because of server delay
this bug exists for years now, still not fixed hehe
ive even had FoF tick kills while i spammed my ToD button
