2.7 mil hit kill by monk

i got killed by monk in arena like 30 minutes ago with touch of death hit was 2.7 mil, nobady even close hit me like that in whole expansion. Is this ok lol?

I jus got hit 3.3m that’s overkill

kek… this is an execute ability on 10% hp anyways. It’s does what it should, kill you at 10%

I’ve been killed through dispersion many times by monks, a bit over the top that you can’t defend yourself when you see it coming.

maybe dont disperse at 5% hp then? It’s not like sp is squishy atm :wink:

Execute hits for 400k. Doesnt kill anyone.

touch of death is 10% dmg of previous complete dmg made in 8 sec , so i ma interested how the heck they make 30 mil or 28 mil dmg in 8 sec.

I’ve been slowed in my freedom buff ( and no not dazed but slowed).

Im writing this from resto druid aspect:

Always when they buff healer damage, they nerfing druid even more, this is because our healing is insufficient, any additional damage is breaking point for us.

What expansion are you stuck in? Read the abilities again

Just the procc can fail to activate instantly at 10% and has dome weird delay :smiley:

also wrong Expansion mate, ToD in Mop costed 3 chi (0 with glyph but longer cd) and did the monks whole hp value as dmg to the target when 10% or less

ToD is janky to use, doesn’t always seem to activate and has a frustrating delay - can easily find yourself terribly out of position having rolled in for ToD only to have it not work…then you get swapped to.

Even if you Disperse at 15% Touch of Death still instantly kills you through it.

It’s the best execute by a mile and it really isn’t close.

it sure is or many times would be if it wouldn’t be so clunky in its availability sometimes with it’s chunky delay where it actually pops or does not pop.

That is what it did in BfA. It has changed since then and gone back to how it was originally designed. Now, it can only be used on a target below 10% health, and if it is used it kills the target (well, it deals enough damage to kill it, although some specific scenarios may allow you to survive it). It also bypasses damage reduction effects so it always deals full damage.

That means no one dealt 30M damage in 8s. That’s not how the spell works. He just pressed it and it dealt 3M game over. Against Monk, do not fall below 10%.

Cocoon from MW or Rescue+Time Diladation from Pres can prevent ToD kills too in addition to the obvious cheat death style effects
