Noone is going to pay for 20 carries to +20 for something they can get from grinding.

Lots of misinformation,
As it stands now, in the current patch we simply cannot get 239 Conduits from Mythic+ dungeons.
+15s only drop 236.
In the next patch, guess what, the max item level again will be 3 item levels short from the next tier of conduits, so unless they change it, mythic+ players cannot get 265 Conduits until they do all +20s.
Furthermore, certain conduits are a decent power spike, I play paladin and for example I get a few good upgrades from the conduits. It depends on the class, but most of the powerful paladin conduits all drop from M+ only and not from the raid.
Heroic Raiding and Mythic Raiding does drop the 265 and 278 conduits, but if you dont have a group to do raiding with you are pretty much inferior to people who do do that, not to mention that again, not all conduits drop from Raiding.
So thats 2 item level upgrades that players miss out on if they don’t do the more extreme content in wow.
Is that fair?
At least korthia and torghast did give us the ability to get stuff to 252 and empowered conduits gave us another 2 rank ups.
It’s quite crazy to see that blizzard hasn’t added a new way to do it yet.
you really have no clue about boosting… and for what people pay for haha.

90% of players dont even do M+ so doubt they are not making a game for 1-10% of players - or maybe they are :((
So you admit theres a way to get max level conduits from just farming trivial mobs in korthia yet what I said is somehow misinformation?
Well to be fair, I don’t see you as having much credibility in this area either.
dont want to bother you but we are talking for patch 9.2 here… there is no item like in korthia that upgrades a random conduit to x ilvl… and again, you have no idea what is going on on boosts and how popular this is … I dont want to discuss this any further. people who know boosting community will understand how this item is a gift from Ymbarra to boosting community. You can belive that people will not boost for it and will grind for it (wonder why they dont do the same for all the other reasons they buy boost for…)

There will be an item that upgrades conduits. Maybe not at the start but it will come.
And don’t say you don’t want to discuss something then reiterate your point with no backup at all. You sound like every other handwaving cretin around “just trust me” “I heard”. No.
Well there might be, but thats the whole point of this discussion. There is only a more extreme way currently and not the one that is more accessible.

Afaik, you can get 278’s from mythic raids, and you can get 265’s from spamming +15’s. And then there’s the ‘‘Do all +20s for full 278 conduits’’. Which is not BoA.
265 gear only drops from heroic Raids.
Mythic+ 15 has historically always been 3 item levels lower so unless they change it you can’t get those.
That’s the whole point of the discussion.
239 conduits for example don’t drop from 15s currently, only from heroic raid.
I was talking about the ilvl of conduits.
265 conduits will drop from M+ in 9.2, the ilvl right under 278. Including covenant conduits*

Well there we go at least we can get to 265, unless of course they change it.
But thats been the pain point, being 1 rank lower is a lot less problematic than 2.

Welcome to Blizzards current “borrowed power” systems where your class is only 50-80% of itself and the “systems” make up the rest and then when you go into next expansion your char feels like it isn’t whole until you hit level cap and farm out the points for the new system.
Man I wish we could go back to just having characters and having them get better and better gear instead of having to farm points to unlock our weapons, cloaks, necklaces, conduits etc etc.

what about people that only play pvp?

15 people? theres more players in checkpvp than in rio.
also you will not upgrade your conduits too,since you cant do a +20 dungeon or gladiator or cutting edge.
so it will suck for you too.
you know a dh in 278 conduits have blur every 30 seconds?
gj blizzard giving 278 conduits to boosters and leave the rest with 252 or 265 from dungeon xD
if theres no way to upgrade my conduits trough pvp or world content im unsubbing,and maybe only return when microsoft starts touching the game.

But to invalidate your argument. You can get it doing only pvp.
