2H weapon on Elemental? Or Shaman in general?

So I just finished doing my first weekly after the reset and the pinnacle reward I got was a 2h mace. The stats were solid and the ilvl is beautiful but I don’t know if it’s worth it using a 2h on Elemental Shaman at all.

I mean, I guess it’ll look cool ultimately but any advice from more well-traveled Shaman players? Should I stick to 1h and shield or is it worth it mucking around with 2h for a while?

It doesn’t matter much in PVE I think, you would use it for little extra armor and block in pvp I’d say but if it has better stats than your one hand and offhand then keep it
