Even in skirmish Blizzard admits that no healer vs healer would be extremely unbalanced and that’s why it’s not possible. If double dps could only fight double dps in 2s it would be the only rated pvp mode which isn’t gatekept behind the healer shortage. It would basically become the new shuffle in terms of participation.
The only people would could possibly be against this change would be healer teams who like getting free wins.

No according to this proposal anyone can play with a healer if they want, they will just face other healder/dps teams instead of free wins against double dps. Double dps will only face double dps, which is much more balanced.

Or you know… classes with minimal self healing vs idk what the most recent thing was? Shamans doing 1mil damage and healing for 1.2mil? Seems fair doesn’t it? 
How is this so hard to understand? Under this proposed change players who feel they need a healer CAN STILL PLAY 2S WITH A HEALER. They just won’t face double dps teams anymore because it’s not fair.
I honestly don’t see the issue. It’s been in the game for years and it’s fine. 2s aren’t balanced as everyone know. If the 2 dps classes play good together they also have a chance vs healer+dps
You can’t always get what you want
Here’s why it’s actually a really, really big deal. I shouldn’t have to explain why placing teams with no healer against teams with a healer isn’t fair. Furthermore there’s nowhere even close to 1 healer for every 1 dps in game, which means most players are gatekept out of 2s because they can’t find a healer. No, that’s not “fine”.
Also dps are waiting in 30+ min queues for solo shuffle which is a MASSIVE problem and people are quitting over it. If there was one single rated pvp bracket which didn’t require a healer it would thin out the dps queueing for solo shuffle, reducing queues for everyone.
If this simple change was implemented 2s would immediately become the most active pvp bracket in the game. “Not a big deal” right.
Wouldn’t really be punishing them, it would simply mean that dps + healer would only queue into other dps + healer comps. This would maybe actually be beneficial for warrior. If your class relies heavily on external heals, you are subject to more danger if 2 burst dps coordinate CC’s on your healer and burst you down in seconds.

I don’t know what he really wants, double dps is viable more than ever before right now, thanks to hybrids not having cosmetic potato heals and more than able to put up a fight against healer/dps comps in 2s.

You are trying to play 2x DPS 2s with DH. I’m sorry dude but Warriors, DKs, DHs won’t work in 2x DPS 2s no matter how hard you try. It’s not healers that make you lose.
Nah if you’re too low IQ to understand why it’s unfair to place teams without a healer against teams with a healer then it’s pointless trying to explain. Same reason Blizzard doesn’t allow dps/dps vs dps/healer in skirmish.
They don’t allow it cause first of all every healer thrown into a skrim 2s would instaleave,
secondly skirms are a joke mode for people to get 25 conquest and hit eachother with pve rotations.
Seems the only person here with a low “IQ” here is you, no one else is having a problem beating healer/dps as double dps in 2s, you’re just bad at wow arenas, hence why you’re hardstuck challenger every season you’ve played.
iam agree with author, there should be two separate queues - for those who ready to play dps vs dps 2v2 rated shuffle and for those who wants current only heal games. Iam tired to wait 50 min. for pops and then getting a noob healer who is either afking or just quits after first match
Man if I could, I would like to do it so much, if I only could do it:
I’d give them exactly what they are asking for and laugh my butt off as they get farmed into the ground again by double hybrids.
Until they ask only for NON HEALING SPECS to be quequed into one another until its just 2 DHs pveing eachother in the middle of the arena.
It’s not our fault y’all chose DH, a class that needs to be babysat by a healer or be useless. In return, you’re incredibly good at being babysat by a healer. That’s the trade.
Most double dps teams are rogue mage or some filthy wizard or hybrid gimmick anyway which equal a healers healing in terms of resets, raw healing or just the damage output being extreme.
If anything its unfair on healers kek
