2v2 Rog/Mage what's easier to play?

What do you think is easier to play in this setup ?
Sub Rog or Mage ?

currently mage because rogue does all the cc

Definitely the Rogue.

Mage has to survive, fake kicks and time the globals.

Rogue just has to stun 1 guy and then step the kill target and do pve rotation in stunlock.

One scholar is gonna tell you ti’s the rogue because you just have to stun. The other scholar is gonna tell you it’s the mage cuz u just have to burst when the target is stunned.

Depends how mentally you can adapt to playing like absolute scum, you aint climbing nowhere if you try to secure the kill aggressively burning everything including your two vanishes.

Most people I play with are zug zug melee players and would fair better playing mage cause they just want to do damage / line / kite / whatever else rather than bing chilling and attempt for resets.

From my opinion as the rogue, its more fun to play mage infinitely more. Its depressing being reduced to a stun bot in comp play.

So it’s more fun having to permanently live things like survival hunters + an aggresive priest healer by yourself for 20 seconds until DRs are off? Interesting point.

The Mage is the kill target for the enemy team 90% of the time. The Rogue is literally chilling in stealth while the Mage takes 2 wieners until the next go. And the way defensives work right now, any decent healer/dps team will survive at least 2 gos because 2 people have trinket, meaning you usually need a minimum of 3 gos to win.

There’s only a few scenarios where it’s just easy in general for the Mage, such as facing free win comps like Windwalker X, where the Monk can’t ever reach the Mage after the go anyway

Rogue:

  • the easier part is to survive
  • the harder part is to do all the CC properly, not leave gaps in stuns, react fast to stun trinket etc

Mage:

  • the easy part is to do the burst on stunned targets
  • the harder part is to survive as you’ll be the kill target every single game
