Just after launch 2x full Tabs of Warbound Radiant Echoes Gear i stashed away for alts just disappeared from my warbank? WTH. the hell is the point of a warband bank, should have just mailed them to each character.

Same here. Not that many, but had collected quite a few and when I logged in and checked on one they were showing as “Soulbound” - didn’t think of checking them out then, thinking they would become soulbound on the character retrieving them, so instead went on to check on another character and then they were all gone.

Nice going w/ “Warbound until equipped”, Blizzard. Yay…

Edit: Just checked the automated recovery of deleted items and they don’t even show there… :frowning:

Same here! A couple of minutes before the pre-patch event was about to end, I saw that all Warbound Radiant Echoes Gear suddenly became soulbound in the Warband bank without me equipping them. Which was already weird! Then a couple of minutes after the event ended, I noticed that all that gear was deleted also. The whole event long Radiant Echoes Gear was warbound and in the last couple of minutes before the event ended all this craziness happens! I hope this is a bug and the gear can be restored.

I submitted a ticket - ETA until they close it without reading, 24 hours. Will probably be longer to get anything useful out of the ticket, at which point they’re probably say something silly like: “we’re sorry, they’re gone, we can’t fix that”.

I know bugs will always be there, but this pre-patch has been riddled with them. I’m still waiting for one such bug to be fixed, that was introduced w/ the pre-patch, and funny enough, does NOT exist in the beta, but somehow the fix has not made it all the way to retail servers, or, as they describe them in an automated website recovery page, “null” :smiley: I wonder if they’re trying to tell us something.

Exact same thing happened to me, although I tried withdrawing them on my first character and was given the ‘Soulbound items cannot be put into the warband bank’ error (despite them already being IN there), relogged to see if it was affecting any other characters, and the items were all gone.

If nothing else I’d have liked to vendor them all, probably 2k gold just gone

Also happened to me, not happy enough to lost all tab1 and half of 2 of my guild bank, and now this… what is going on? What a nice start of a expansion i am having…

Nice “canned” response - at least they were quick, although why do I have to raise ANOTHER ticket myself to report a bug?

I understand that you had an issue with items in the Warbank becoming soulbound or disappearing.

If you run into any issues like this, please submit a bug report either in game or on the bug reporting forums with any information you have.
This helps alert the developers to the scope of the issue as they look into solutions.
We do not currently have any workarounds to share, so thank you for your patience.

Customer Support tickets land at the customer support. Bug report tickets land at the devs office.

Yeah mine had the same response. Not much they or we can do about it now I guess, just have to wait and see, no doubt the devs are aware of this by now.

That’s a lame excuse. I work in a company that offers a SaaS solution and our customer support team will triage the issues and if they are bugs, will send them over to the devs.

I don’t think we’d get away with telling our customers: “Oh, that must be a bug, now go somewhere else and submit a bug report instead…”

And before you say it is because EU/US - we also provide services in US, EU and ASIA and we don’t bounce customers around.

And the company I work for, is not even BIG - we have less than 500 people. Surely Blizzard/MS could do better than this?

But you don’t work for Microsoft and forgot that Blizzards Customer Support got closed and streamlined with Microsofts overall Xbox Support.

The customer support people you talk to, aren’t from Blizzard anymore. They are Microsoft employees.

Thankfully, I don’t indeed. I DO have to work with MSFT’s “support”, as we’re a customer of their Azure offering, and by god, is that rubbish… From having to repeat the same things over and over to multiple technicians to have to explain to them how to do their, supposedly, technical job, any ticket w/ them is a struggle to the point we often try all possible work-arounds we can so as not to open another ticket as it is far more productive to just watch paint dry than to interact w/ MSFT’s support.

Anyways, back onto the issue at hand, I have very low expectations of any resolution, so if something does come out of the ticket or even this thread, it will be a win. But I’m not counting on one, and probably neither should all the players in a similar situation.

Pretty much the same thing here. Nearly a full tab I was going to dish out to my alt army.
Additionally, every piece that was still in character inventory is now soulbound or missing… except for one shrivelled ancient tentacle trinket which is still warbound.

CS is trash tier with WoW, a game that you buy with a sub on top of it. :+1:

Alright guys calm down, I understand this too as 3 rows of warbound gear disappeared from my own bank.

From the US CS forums they are aware and the devs are on it:

And submitting a ticket to CS has no use, they don’t fix the game. We’ll have to wait till the developers will fix this for everyone.

Blizzard support is not integrated with MS support insofar. If you see any new bugs, report it directly to the developers and QA through the ingame bug report systems (not through CS tickets) or the US bug report forums.

The answer given by the GM earlier is thus correct:

Today’s patch has fixed the issues. All affected Items are again Warbound and have reappeared in the Warbank.

Came here to say what Dashý-antonidas said! Didn’t see it mentioned but was surprised when I logged onto one of my characters and it had a WuE item in it’s bags so decided to check the warbank and there they were, properly WuE!
