I have been waiting for 3 days now for a response to my request to transfer one WoW account over to another BattleNet account. I am a little baffled there isn’t simply a service in place for this purpose and the only way of requesting such a thing is with a support ticket?
Probably because it can be abused.
As long as both accounts are in your name they should be able to transfer it, just realise your bind to account stuff will not go with the account.
Yes I’m fine with the conditions. Just a little frustrated as it will no doubt take time to consolidate them.
I am also waiting over 3 days for this service from blizzard. Both accounts are under the same name region and payment and fully understand that you lose account bound items (which isn’t an issue in classic) Really wish they had an automated system for this…
I’m now unable to open my ticket and the page repeatedly asks me to log in again…
Could you please detail further exactly what they will ask me to provide as proof? I will attach and add all of this information to the ticket now.
They will probably need a scan of your official ID.
With matching names between the ID and the name account is registered to.
I am unable to upload any screenshots as attachments to my ticket as the web page just times out every time I try.
I don’t think a screenshot would be accepted anyway. They will want the actual scans of the relevant documents.
Screenshots are too easily edited (so are scans really but eh, Blizzard)
There is a maximum size for the picture.
And also specific formats
They lay within the correct formats and size (they’re only 400kbs).
