Just STOP with this Gatcha like lottery. I want to buy a good weapon in PVE too. Why is it that I can only buy a weapon in PVP ? What if I don’t have time to PVP also ? I have a life and I also work.
Inspect my logs. 3 (THREE) months now without a SINGLE decent weapon in the weekly Mythic Plus chest. Always 3 chests of max level. No weapon.
How is this possible ??? Bad luck ? No. Bad design. Not to mention that pretty often I get the thing that I already have or the legendary slot.
Yea, now get offended as usual and ban my forum account. Instead FIX your game and stop the lottery.
… and you wonder why people are leaving wow.
So what are dinars? SL to me looked like several treadmills in one so I’ve been dodging content for most of the expac and just focussing on RP
Is it just oldschool valor points but with a different name? (a currency you can spend for gear at a vendor like the game has worked for a large chunk of its existance since atleast TBC) cause I’ve wanted those back ever since pvp got its vendors back
Dinars are a “quest reward” currency for killing RAID bosses.
Any difficulty rewards these, once a week per boss (for the FATED raid only.)
TLDR:
Do the fated LFR every week and you get 10 (11 if Sofo) boss kills.
The quests are for 30-15-5 bosses respectivily.
So 3 weeks = first dinar. Then 2 weeks = other 2 dinars.
EDIT:
Forgot to mention.
1 Dinar = 1 Item.
This includes ALL raid items in Normal Mode difficulty.
It takes less than 2 hours to clear a raid and get your coins. The design is great, you just don’t want to play the game. Which is fine, but you shouldn’t complain.
The way to get gear through M+ is not the great vault, it’s actually spamming the dungeons. If it was about the great vault, M+ would have weekly lockouts and limitations on the amount of loot you can get per week, like every other loot avenue.
I think all Shadowlands raids are constantly fated, so you can literally get 30 coins in a day and just buy a weapon.
You cannot complain because a game is designed to be played and you don’t want to play it.
If it was just raiding, it would be 2 hours of game per week.
It’s not just raiding, but raiding is a major aspect and players who want their guaranteed bis weapon can put in the time. Those who don’t want to get their guaranteed bis weapon can stick to farming M+.
It’s not a major aspect to me. It is objectively a major aspect that some players choose to ignore and then they blame the game for their own decisions. It would be like me refusing to upgrade my gear and then blaming Blizzard that I do garbage DPS.
You are free to ignore raiding, but that also means you need to accept the fact that you’ll be missing out on rewards.
It’s weird to me how this discussion is ONLY had with raiding. I ignore M+ habitually, which leads to me having a slower gear progression. Most of my friends are 300+ilvl, and I am 292. Do I complain that my choices to play the game the way I want results in me progressing slightly slower than those who engage with more features of the endgame?
I say M+ is trash all the time not because I hate dungeons, but because I want to do them. I just hate M+'s current iteration.
So in that sense it goes both ways, but somehow people think this argument is only valid when it comes to raids. M+ is objectively a major aspect of the game that means nothing to me. Raids are objectively a major aspect of the game that means nothing to you. Both of our choices have consequences. That’s literally the definition of playing a game.
My hunter went close to 4 months with a 242 weapon from ZM before i gave up on it and played paladin…then all i ever got from raids and m+ was weapons…rng is a pain sometimes.
300 itlv indeed requires some minor dedication like farming specific dungeon for drops you are missing or doing hc fated raids couple of times.
but as long as you do 1-4 m+ a week you should be now 290+
i would know - have atm 13 alts with average itlv of 292.5 . before season started they were at average itlv of 272 at end of last season . all i did on them is 1 - 4 dungeons a week (and 4 dungeons for max of 2 resets rest was literaly 1 dungeon a week ) .
if someone was doing 4 m+ a week - which is really a minimal amount for someone playing 1 character he would be easily 295 + by now.
