3+ year old MOG mount bug still not fixed

This might seem like a minor issue to some, but to the people who loves spending time MOGing in WoW, it is a quite annoying bug hehe.

I joined WoW back in WoD, and one of the first things I did was to buy the Grand Expedition Yak mount. And right from the start it has had a bug where half the time I use it, the “lighting” disappears from the character so it appears as if he is standing in shade, which makes it hard to see how he looks like. :confused:

This isn’t a “me issue”, since this is a bug that I see on 3 separate PCs, as well as it being a bug my wife experiences on her account/PC.

Every time a person wanna use the MOG mount, it feels like stepping into a shoe knowing that there is a 50/50 chance of there being a small annoying rock in it that you can’t remove.

Would love to see this being fixed in the future :slight_smile:

Just wanna add that I have tried getting on and off the mount repeatedly in both well lit and shaded areas of the game, and it doesn’t seem to be tied into how the lighting is around the player when getting on the mount.

I can only say that i have only seen this a couple of times from MoP to this day and each time /reload fixed it for me.
I do wonder if this is a common thing for other people though.

Have tried the /reload as well, and while it does most of the time fix it, it just feels like an annoying way to fix it when it happens 50% of the time you click the MOG guy hehe.

There are alot of bugs in this game, if Blizzard sends my bank account 2k€ I can send them a pdf including every bug I’ve discovered in a short time, some are really serious ones :smirk:
