The battle.net launcher does not exactly show which files are being downloaded. There are no new patch notes whatsoever and the last hotfixes happened on May 7th.

Do you have classic client ?
Opening the game (which was playable after approxiametly 1.00GB) gave me an answer: was meddling with the language settings on my last playing session not knowing that the client would download the data on its own on the next (re)start of the client.
