honestly the 2 week pre patch is the real bad thing. id take that clone cost over the june 1st tbc release. but im already unsubbed.

i wnet my clone as monument to my clasic journy but 35 E? too much alsoo if thy insist on those in game mount i just stay classic
35 dollars (probably will be 30 euros in EU) is astronomical and utterly disgusting.
What can you do though. They have a bunch of babies defending them for every decision that they take.
20 euros would have been somewhat ok. 35? Such a greedy move, and it will harm classic era servers forever. Many players will feel forced to only play one version of the game now and this will reduce the amount of players on both sides, splitting up the community even more drastically now.

Just cancel the sub, nothing to wait here anymore. Thanks for the good memories with WC3 and old WoW and thanks for the art team, I really appreciate it. However, Blizzard is lost its identity forever, Iâm really sorry about that. Best of luck.

itâs a ransomware on your characters and blizzard knows it (on something that can be done infinitely on the PTR which further proves that itâs just a blatant cash grab)

Paying 35euro for a simple clone your character to also keep it on a classic server is just outrages! TBH for all the support WE classic players have givin in terms of money to play your oldest game again you should give 1 transfer for FREE to all accounts still active!!!

We really need to stop calling them blizzard. That company ceased to exist years ago. They hardly have any of the original staff nor original goals and ethos.

No fresh servers, nothing to deal with the massive population that will come to the existing server, no serious bugfixing, no action to fix population or faction imbalance across servers.
But when it comes to selling overpriced services that could be done by a click and a script, here you can count on a massive effort !
Iâm so done with Blizzard once Iâll have my fill of BC Classic and probably a bit of WotLK Classic.

Why donât you all just skip the cloning and make new characters on Classic and re-live your journey again? If nobody clones them over (which I doubt), youâll almost have âfreshâ. 
Is there a source of this price info? I couldnât see it mentioned and wanted to try and check what it would be in ÂŁGBP and to confirm the info is real too ofc!
I guess they only want very few people on playing on the Classic Era servers.
With 10 chars on my account, I have definitely dropped that now.
It cost almost the same copying 1 char as it does buying a new game.
Absolutely greedy beyond anything I have seen before 
But they are definitely doing a good job pushing people back to the private servers if thatâs their goal.
