3D Accelerator Card Is Not Supported. And I have tried everything, send help!

Hey guys, I am really hoping some big brain tech guy/girl out there can help me out.

The Problem

When I launch Wotlk Classic (and ONLY wotlk classic all other game modes, SoD, Retail, Cata Beta ect work perfectly) I get the error message:
“Your 3D accelerator card is not supported by World of Warcraft. Please install a 3D accelerator card with dual-TMU support.”
I am aware this is a common problem that has lots of threads already (I have read like 50 of them) however none of the suggested fixes work for me.

Things I have tried:
-Updating Graphics drivers
-Launching as administrator

  • Uninstalling and reinstalling wotlk classic
  • Uninstalling/reinstalling display adapters
    -Opening in windowed mode
    -Resetting in game settings
    -Running the scan and repair tool
    -Updating my DirectX
    -ensuring that the game is using the correct graphics card
  • Disabled all overlays (discord Genforce ect)
    -Many more I can’t think of off the top of my head.

Disable your Intel graphics either in device manager or the bios.

I tried that already. After trying for three weeks, this morning I reinstalled all Wow’s on to my other hard drive and now it works. So there is another potential fix for people with this problem. Thanks though.

hello , i have the same problem . and im happy to see that you managed to fix this already , i just went to ask did you started a fresh install of wow in new hard drive or just moving curent file/folders in to new hard drive ?
