I am writing in this category because “general discussion” category is not available for some reason…
Anyway, I’m trying to make some 3D rendered art that is wow related. I am really new to this, but I’m starting to understand how do character models work. However, I don’t know how to make the rest of the scenery. I’ve seen some people using seperate models of trees and similar things, but I have no idea where to find 3D models for anything other than characters. Where cam I find these things?

I have no idea, but Googling
wow 3d model viewer
gives me lots of info and resources, including a site
that has at the top a link to a Discord community. (You can join using just a browser.)
I suggest you join that community, which is for machinima makers; I suspect people there will be able to point you at the right resources.
