You mean something like a Demon Hunter from Diablo III or Diablo Immortal? Nah, it’s mostly covered by Hunters and Rogues, and if they were to make such a spec, it would be a Rogue spec, not Demon Hunter.
I was thinking more like a fel beam shooting, like Metamorphsis in Warcraft III.
They would rather focus on something easier, such as additional races or the ability to change the appearance of Metamorphosis. And don’t jump right into 3rd Spec, which still needs to be balanced with the rest of the game. Let’s start with small steps with something easy.

Nah if anything they should delete the whole class in the name of making the game overall more healthy.
Because losing one of the more fun tank classes is certainly gonna help the game, eh?

Aug needs to be deleted. Not adding another buffing spec !
Why not ? They should add more support as Aug to choose from.
This was argued to oblivion alrady.
But I will TLDR the resume :
“Support” does not exist. Aug is a DPS spec. Like a rogue, or a hunter.
Its what its classified as.
And as long as it continues to be classified as one, it will create way too many balancing problems for itself, any group it is in, and the game as a whole.
Therefore : If blizzard does not fundamentaly change the game and add a propper “support roll”, anything related to that abobination should be deleted and put on pause untill they do.
Don’t forget in classic we had Paladins in 40 raids that their job was just to buff people 
.
It will change the gameplay of course, but it will add a new flavour, and a new touch to the game.
Yeah… and why was that abandoned ? Any guesses ?
If it changes gameplay for the worst (like Aug currently is) is it really worth it to have more “flavour” ?
I mean… I hope everyone is wrong. But S1 of WW looks like Aus is gonna be so meta you will practically need one for even +5s. You call that “new flavour” ? To see the same spec over and over again ?
And only because its the only DPS that can buff the tank and healer. When both those rolls got nerfed…

Okay, i understand - but in this case they could add a range or a mid- range type scythe stuff build.
Druid has 4, Evokers did get their 3rd spec along the DF exp, why shouldn’t Demon hunters have the 3rd spec ? We already have the lore that enables this to be a thing ?
