So for DH’s, what would your ideal 3rd spec be? How would it work?
A ranged physical spec… silly having guns and bows exclusively for a single class currently.

Make it buff other players, so aug has competition, and maybe it’ll knock veng DH off the throne too.
Two, potentially three flies with one stone.
DH: fires volley of fell arrows at ally
DH: “I CAN’T SEE, AM I HELPING?”

Id go for a spec designed around 2-Handers that deals with stealing and manipulating souls.

obviously a healer spec, i think a 2nd dmg dealing spec would come across as pity like heres your cookie now stop typing…
I dont see how it wouldnt work and it wouldnt be similar to warlock healing himself with fel stuff, also 2h weapons etc plz

That is the weirdest way to quote me, just saying 
I could imagine DH 3rd spec being a buff class similar to Augmentation, working with Sigils and amplifying Chaos Brand further.
They aren’t blind, just see differently.
And yeah, my vote would be on a ranged dps spec too; make it throw glaives (without having some equipped) and work with bows/guns/crossbows (equipped) - maybe even dual wield them - or have one glaive and one “bow” equipped and base the spec on juggling between throwing and shooting, with the attacks leaving bleed DoTs and fel/(void) Dots.

Tbh after all the DH I’ve been grouped with i just assumed they were all blind.

Okay so hear me out, imagine a draven type class that flings glaives and is therefor ranged and a physical dps while keeping it withing the demon hunter fantasy.
I’m all for a healer spec.
One idea would be stealing life and trapping souls from mobs.
You steal life with fel magic, similar to warlocks and redirect to allies.
And you steal and manipulate souls in order to power up healing spells and healing sigils.
This would be a healing spec 100 percent inside the DH fantasy and the first “evil healer” spec in the game. (For a change)
What my fellow Demon Hunters think?

Souleater isn’t a bad name for a spec that utilizes 2h weapon (polearm or staff) but I thought possibly a caster DH variant with the spec name ‘Chaos’
Both would be awesome, blizzard make it happen, make DH the next class with 4 specs

Would be interesting to see another class utilizing empowered spells, first we got evokers, now we going to get earthen with their own racial empowered ability, this new caster spec could fundamentally utilize empowered fel magic whether to cleave down opponents or support team mates with fel energies that can increase let’s say more damage % increase or more haste.
I’d love to have a healer. Imagine healing with fell magic

blizards fault for making fel dash such an important talent, all the stories i heard about dhs dying by dashing here and there, gave a bad name to the spec
