But it’s not useless… Even if you vendor it, it gives you gold, i.e. not useless… Its really baffling, that you call others out for “not being the brightest” yet, you can’t seem to understand the simple distinguishment of “I won’t use it” and “It’s useless”. That’s all…
Just because you would rather drive your car, doesn’t make bikes useless all of a sudden. No one, literally no one is denying that the legendary in regard to performance is better than the weapon drops… But YOU decided to mix apple and oranges by going “Erhmgard legendary better performance man!! U dumb!” to an answer that didn’t say the opposite… Are you that stubborn and lack so much self-reflection, that you can’t see you were the one trying to disregard the useability of weapon drops just because YOU won’t utilize the efficiency of it? xD
Do you know what the word useless means? Let’s break it down together.
It is constructed from 2 words - use and less. Meaning it is without use, it has no use. The weapon is decreasing your upgrade materials, therefore it has a use. The use of it is that it decreases your upgrade materials for legendary upgrades. So by definition, it is not useless.
If you dont get gear with each passing day you have it harder and harder to get into groups and to set up good group which makes IT harder to get gear.
Its really vicious cycle if you pug especialy as dps
No seems to be focusing in on this point. The game is design is always around trying to make you spend more time in game to complete each upgrade. Why do people think that an item drop is based on how many runs you are doing. The algorithm of wow is to do nothing more than drip feed with a very occasional peak point. Wow lost the dice roll a long time ago. Now it is all about what they can do to prolong your interest in a game, because that means sub time.
I am not one of the some, hence, I am voicing my different opinion.
Exactly. And we had Torghast too. Issue is that they made Torghast mandatory and they took the fun element (which we had during the beta) out of it completely.
I just don’t understand why Blizzard can’t create content for pure fun or challanges. Did Mage Tower took sooooo much of their time? I highly doubt so.
Anyway, as it is, Its not like I am expecting any changes. I am just voicing my opinion. As always, I’ll play M+ and once the randomness of gear gets to me, I’ll unsub and wait for the next expansion/patch.
And I am reflecting the other side of the coin. Regardless of what your standpoint is, you can still answer the latter part of the quote?
Hence why I didn’t reference Thorgast? You can’t compare the Mage Tower with Thorgast… Thorgast was a ressource farm like the corruptions… Mage tower was fully cosmetic like pandaria challenge mode…
The do… And they did… But it seems the various content they have out there, isn’t for you. Which is fine. But doing what you want, will more or less break the game more than the positive it will bring. You seemingly aren’t staying subbed or enjoying the game outside of very specific elements… So giving you full gear would probably end up in a scenario where you will have pushed to your cap fast, then you would get bored of endlessly tryharding to gain 10 points and unsub anyways
They didn’t. The only “content” that could stick around was Mage Tower. Even that didn’t stick around as a content. It only came back after years of begging by the community. The reason I mentioned Torghast was because It could be another Mage Tower but for some reason they decided to make it such a bore fest that we don’t have anyone asking for it to come back.
I’m just so so sick of RNG gearing tbh. For me personally it’s been a very unlucky 2 weeks. If not for the ‘skill’ rewards (already got the KSM token) and the bullion+ free sparks I would be undergeared. Tbc TW helped a lot too, again guaranteed loot.
To pain a picture:
I have KSM so I did over 25 keys to push for rating and gear. I have received loot 5 times.
Of those times I had to delete 2 items because they were for slots I already have something.
I did both raids on normal and hc. 4 full clears. I got loot once. Once.
Meanwhile other people kept rolling 90+ and walked away with 3 items per raid.
You’re making a fool out yourself lol. Yes I do know what useless means.
adjective
not fulfilling or not expected to achieve the intended purpose or desired outcome.
If I’m not going to use the weapon then… Get a clue bro
The annoyance of that though. I had one upgraded cloak. The next time I got loot it was another cloak, so it was a vendor item. (useless item) I know some people above struggle with the meaning.
Wait M+ does not give you guarenteed Loot at the End? I thought M+ has a Trade of for no weekly lockout, that you get one piece if untimed or two if timed for the whole dungeon.
Again, you just don’t seem to enjoy the content that is there. And thats fine.
It has nothing to do with “focus on gear”, because it has never been easier to get the gear, and still play casually.
But you want the best of both worlds, which is gonna be a tad bit harder, as WoW has always been time gated in terms of gearing…
“having no ability or skill in a specified activity or area.
“he was useless at football””
You can’t just pick half of the definition that fits your narrative and go with it.
As the weapon drops indeed does “have an ability” in this term, fulfill the crest saving, disenchant, whatever, it is per definiton not useless You just can’t grasp being wrong, even though now 3 people + the dictionary has tried telling you… You would rather do emojis xD
Yes, if you look up the definition it usually has more than 1 point Do I need to teach you how a dictionary works now too?
You copied in the first point, but completely neglected the second part of the definition, just like you completely disregard the usage of a weapon drop
Its okay though… Ignorance is truly bliss so wouldn’t expect you to go “hey guys, you’re right, the weapon drop is not useless, but as I don’t care for the crests I mentioned it as useless, which is of course just for me” would’ve saved you some grace though <3
