41% - 47% crit chance

I mean why not right?

What are you talking about?

Why as a frost dk, I have focused entirely into the stat which the systems direct me to as the major statistic of the spec.

The result is that I now stretch to 47% critical strike chance using the kleia soulbind.

Brilliant, thanks for the information.

I understand your frustration. I’d much rather go haste mastery so I could play both frost and unholy. But thanks to that dogsh*t mechanic that makes KM only proc off of auto crits, I’m forced to go crit for just that one thing.

It’s just hilariously bad design

The issue with crit is that we kind of need it but also don’t actually benefit that much from it like many other classes do.

For example, I get Killing machines all the time now, but don’t actually have the mastery for that to mean anything, mastery being a stat that should not be attached to killing machine procs in the first place if it is going to affect obliterate.

This frost damage mechanic is also trivializing the choice to play with frostscythe which was our way to use mastery with killing machine.

(oh and if nobody goes under 50% health, It’s now 52% crit)

Would you be willing to show me your gear? I feel like I am lost as to what gear I need to be doing meaningful dps

Just to translate this into ratings, my critical strike rating with crit food active is now 1317, interestingly my obliterate does 1316 damage meaning I now have a higher crit rating than my ability has base damage.
