45 sec interrupt cooldown doesnt work well with mythic+ cast changes

Its not really fun when you have 45 sec cd on interrupt and fears etc dont interrupt skills, just delay them, also aoe cc often wastes interrupts on important casts that are then being recast while interrupts are on cds

yeah when stun wastes interrupt for 45 sec and possibly another interrupt on other target from another player, that is not how it should work.

I was sick of the AoE CC mobs until death gameplay of Dragonflight. This is an improvement. Ideally these AoE CC’s should be even rarer still. PvP’ers especially would really appreciate that in exchange for longer, targeted CC’s.

I actualy loved the change, encourages players to not only do more damage as expected in past expansion, but also more mechanics such as relevant kicks.

The game is slowly healing, would it be that the silithus sword was the problem afterall?

Puging doesen’t mean annonymous and silent. You should use your communication skills to coordinate with your team with simply tasks such as:

“Tank kicks first”
“Mage kicks ”
“I am backup for X spell”

And so on. I see no problems at all with people who are interested on playing the game.

In the other hand, I see how players that play with background anime music, double screen, and just see the other players as numbers, feel that they are not having fun. Sadge.

Not having an interrupt at all doesn’t work well with it.

I think I’m going to bail on the season if they don’t give healer priests an interrupt since we can’t do anything to stop casts now.

You can mass dispel buffs from mobs (such as the healing in MoTS), mind control key mobs, stop important cast (delay them) with fear, priests are great! However… you are right. Interrupts are more relevant than ever. Maybe that’s why priest are so low in the M+ tier lists. But as long as you play with a comp that has short CD interrupts (let’s say melee team with maybe an elemental shaman), you are 100% good to go.

See it this way, playing boomkin also needs to play with a healer with an interrupt, because solar beam even if it is overpowered in certain situations, has alot of CD, which make some players don’t even considere it as a real interrupt.

No, people overlap. Then you die because you don’t have a backup one.

There’s always options outside of interrupting, for example even a CC broken instantly serves as a stop for that cast.

Blinding Light can serve as an AOE stop in this way.

Priest healers need an interrupt or they need to revert this change. It’s unplayable in pugs compared to other healers that have an interrupt.

The problem with the way it works now is if you’re going to kick something and it gets stopped by a collateral cc you waste your kick AND it starts casting again immediately.

Some specs also do these micro CCs as part of their rotation, such as ele shaman’s earthquake. No amount of communication can stop that.

on top of that you end up getting multiple casts at same time when you run out of aoe cc that burst people 100-0
