The game freezes for 5-10 seconds after a loading screen. Doesn’t happen all the time, but can happen when first logging in, or after using the hearthstone, portal, etc. Appeared just two days ago

for me since yesterday after the Windows 11 update… every now and then after I alt tab and look at something else I go back into the game sometimes it freezes for a few seconds…

Yes, I confirm. Found about 3 days ago. After the loading screen, the game freezes.
no guys it’s a problem with the latest windows update

World of warcraft is damn near unplayable at times since the update (on a Fresh install of windows, not an in-place update) - and I don’t have crap hardware, 5800X3D, 3080, etc…
There is something fundimentally Broken with gaming on 24h2.
Alt+Tabbing into any other app just makes it worse. WoW repeatedly freezes momentarily, when looking at discord, spotify, chrome OR firefox, running with hardware acceleration on.

I don’t know if this is true as I am using Windows 10 and had this issue aswell.
Tried to disable all addons, it helped but for a bit.

no, today there was a windows update… does anyone still have problems with win11 when they do alt tab? that the game freezes every now and then? does it still do it to me

Yeah, but not as bad as it was…i had no hard freezes for 10-20 secs anymore…but resolution “rescaling” stuff and sometimes chrome upper part freezes…fishy stuff is still going on. Dunno…kinda sucks. wbu?
I am having the same issue for days im trying to find a solution … they told me play windowed it will work , but playing windowed sucks , have you tried other games ? Idk whats wrong … everytime i alt tab my game freezes
Glad I found this as I was worried my PC was going on the blink! Random freezes and 1 0r 2 black screens for 1/2 sec then back rarely but it only started about 2 days ago as well. Hopefully it’ll et fixed next Win patch!
Does the problem persist for you too? I hope they fix it with tomorrow’s update…
