5-8 fps with RTX 4090

Hi there,

Every so often I encounter this issue and it is only with Dragon Flight. I can play for awhile without any issues, then log out of the game (not the PC) and log back on and my FPS just drops to about 5-8.

The only workout around I have found is to uninstall Dragon Flight and then reinstall it. I do not want to keep doing this.

At first I thought it maybe my SSD, but all other games run just fine such as cyberpunk FF14 etc. I do not have any addons installed. Wow classic works just fine so I am just confused why it only happens with Dragon Flight.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks.

System specs:
CPU: Intel i7-13700KF
GPU: Nvidia RTX 4090
RAM: 32GB DDR5
OS: Windows 11

Sounds like the ingame foreground FPS limiter is on. Disable it or set it to a higher value.

I checked that, and it was fine. I just ended up re-installing.

I have this problem this morning. 8 FPS Cant pin point out the problem all other games are fine. I am running at 2 graphics quality makes no difference The 4090 had an update but didn’t seem to affect things till this morning

Same problem here. 45 fps in valdraken. Specs are rtx4090 ram 64gb cpu 13600k idk and its only hapening with wow. No other game

Are you guys using Geforce Experience to “optimize” WoW?
You should definately disable that function in the Geforce settings.

Geforce Experience app optimizations cause this. Disable it.
