Hi, I can’t make more characters on my main realm (Argent Dawn). I’ve reached 50 on it, and I am not at 60 overall.
Once at 50 the “Create char” button disappears.
Any fix for this?

You are correct, the realm limit for characters is still 50 at present. If your realm was a connected realm you would be able to make characters on those but AD is standalone I’m afraid.
Who knows what they may change in the future though.
Im aware of the connected realm thing - its just that this limit seems like a bug or oversight.
I sure hope they fix it.
I do have a question or two, why do you need more than 50 characters per realm?
When did the raise the character limit per account to 60 from 50?

I’d like if I could use all my 60 slots on the same server; not being able to do so seems like an oversight / bug, again: I hope they fix it.

As Punyelf said the realm limit is 50. This limit is now changed to 60 after players made suggestions to change it.
CS doesn’t handle nor forward suggestions, you can do so here though:

As for the 50 char limit being intended; Why?
Why would the Choose to limit you to 50 per realm and 60 per account?
It makes very little sense, and without a source of them specifically stating that this is the intention: I will continue to consider this to be a bug.
I think, and this is a guess, it’s a technical restriction of the system they use for Characters, since it was the maximum amount of characters you used to be able to have in total on all realms so they also set the character per realm limit to the same number, one seems easier to change than the other.
Rewriting it may take more effort that it’s worth for the amount of players it would benefit.
I hope they fix it tho, I do not think it should be THAT difficult.
We’ll see, it’ll make people like me happy if they do 
Still curious to get an answer from a WoW-Dev, if their plan is to keep it this way (50 per realm, 60 per account), or if it is an oversight?

Don’t hold your breath. The dev’s do not even go on the US forums, let alone the EU ones, and they have NEVER responded to questions outside of official Q&A sessions.

I hope the thread gets noticed by someone high enough to bring it to their attention.
Right now it does seem like an oversight/bug, to me, and makes very little sense.

This might have been fixed. I just noticed that the create character button is back on my previously full realm (50 characters) and that I am able to create new characters.
