It’s just a problem with the game all in all having no low level content and never having been interested in adding it. Cause that doesn’t push the latest expansion, aka, less money for Blizzard.
It’s just exasperated by there being absolutely no group content (partly cause of the lack of RDF) which is really really bad for an MMO.
Weirdly enough while lonely it felt a tad bit more complete at the slower original pace. Like sure I also was going in a bit blind back then but looking back at this character journey I don’t think I regret anything. Yet I feel a pang of regret from trying and failing to rush on the alt.

They’re of course meaning it’s much much faster if someone says quick. Before WOTLK Classic launched and the buff was active - before I knew you could disable it - I flew through various zones from level 34-58. I never touched any of the 50-60 zones and I was only questing. I don’t think I was in any zone any significant length of time at all and quests were grey in no time. The higher I got the quicker it went because of the % increase.
Crapaclysm also punished you for being in a guild with a mandatory XP boost that could not be turned off, remember that?

I don’t think I understand the logic you’re trying to use here.
The idea of giving passive benefits for just wearing a tag does seem to go against the idea of a guild as it doesn’t really encourage the cooperation between players. It’s just a benefit leading to existence of “leveling” guilds which amount to little more than a waiting room with no real interaction between guild members. Similarly to how Warmode on retail is primarily turned on for bonus EXP rather than because player wants to actively PvP in the world.
Nobody understands it’s logic it doesn’t have any.
